A lot of people just don't really get Nas. His albums aren't going to resonate with people who are used to getting an album, go straight to the single, then skim it for other bangers. With Nas, you gotta start at track 1 and let it ride. You might find yourself skipping some songs, but the songs that stick, they really stick. Even the songs that might've been just aiight the first go round, end up being favorites. His music ages really well outside of Nastradamus. I would say Nasir too, but it is still relatively new.

Yep

People need to sit down and really listen to Nas in order to appreciate his work. And not listen to pitchfork, vlad or hardcore bommbap or backpack fans.

Check out this guy. He's actually doing a nas marathon and I appreciate how he's reviewing Nas' discography.
He's reacting to the tracks with a total honesty while being completely removed from how the tracks were initially recieved whether they had a bad rep or not

Nastradamus has some real dope songs.. I wish people move on from the narrative.

I LISTEN to it more than a lot of his albums

The narrative is easy and doesn't allow people to think...like Doggystyle is Snoop's only good album, Nas picks bad beats, today's music sucks, etc. I suggest albums to people all the time but they'd rather stick with their stubborn opinion.

It has some gems, but overall, it is still his weakest album. "Project Windows" is one of my favorite Nas songs. I even like "You Owe Me". "Last Words" and "Come Get Me" are dope as is "Life We Chose". "Some of Us Have Angels" is cool as is "Shoot Em Up" and "Quiet nikkas". "New World" is aiight. Out of all of these though, "Project Windows" is the only 5/5 Nas song with "Last Words" coming close. Then "Life We Chose". Everything else is 3.5/5 status.

"Big Girl" is one of his worst ever songs.

I don't see how Nastradamus isn't AT LEAST one of Nas's worst albums, if not worst. Its not THAT big of a deal anyway. There's like 12 other Nas albums that I listen to more. That's much more than I can I say for most artists.

My Firm T came in still waiting on my vinyl and CD. Hoodie already been worn a few times since I got it.

I kinda wish Spicy was placed in between 27 summers and Replace Me cause The Cure is such a great closer track.

I still bump Family like once a month at least :yeshrug:

Its really one of the best P and Nas collabs. Hav on the hook but you know what I’m getting at. There something moving about that instrumental feels like a movie score. Prodigy killed his verses.
