I was watching One on One just now and it was the episode where Max Julien guest starred. He said his name was Goldie and I started thinking about Nas' verse on "Full Circle" because of that so I did research. I didn't know Goldie was a real movie character. 
I never saw The Mack so I always thought Nas' verse was just him creating some fictional character for the sake of it. That just makes Nas' verse more meaningful.
