I don't feel right putting LT ahead of them other 3, those other 3 are almost perfect to me...LT is excellent too but them other 3 effected me more. I think Stillmatic is underrated...it's saluted and revered by everyone, lol...still underrated to me. That shyt is borderline an all-time classic to me, conceptually/musically/lyrically/etc.. he was on some shyt on that album. You can take off "Rule" and that shyt is pretty much perfect (I never had "Braveheart Party" on mine so I don't count it, lol)U rank LT that low? Lost Tapes is top 3 Nas album to me. I fukks wit Rule heavy. Lol. But Lost Tapes was literally the soundtrack to my life at the time it came out. I don’t know. That shyt resonates with me emotionally prolly more than any Nas album honestly. I literally went everywhere with that cd in my CD player.I don't feel right putting LT ahead of them other 3, those other 3 are almost perfect to me...LT is excellent too but them other 3 effected me more. Rule is one of the songs on that album that brings me back to the climate at the time. Living in NYC during those times was crazy.Nah Rule was cool especially considering the times we were in as a nation. as well as every mainstream release needing to have a creampuff beat on an album.
We can't have that in today's climate however or you'll end up with a battle between the snowflakes and the alt right. Such as the Trump song that Em had on Revival.
It's cool, just compared to everything else on there it's relatively light. I don't dislike or nothing tho, nah.Nah Rule was cool especially considering the times we were in as a nation. as well as every mainstream release needing to have a creampuff beat on an album.
