2 of them nikkas I don't even understand. In any capacity. But the list makes sense to based on what kind of emcee Royce is and what he values in an emcee.
I think he was just pandering to fans, camel Eminem and biggie got a huge fanbase then just added big L and blackthought to try make his list a bit legit.
Bet his streams went up 5% after he said that.

Eminem is his friend so I get that. Biggie is Biggie so I get that. He’s mentioned Big L before, Black Thought threw me off.

black love, unity, and music
I tried listening to the album again, and to keep it 100, it's a dud. Especially since there is so much good music being put out now. The last good album Nas put out is Life Is Good.
My GOAT is all the way up Mount Olympus and is completely now completely out of touch with HipHop. Very little growth in his music.

My man is leisurely coasting down the highway on cruise control at 65MPH in a 4cylinder.
And if I kept it 100, you’re a moron

I am totally late on this album cause i had to listen to it a couple of times before i properly rated it. I didn't want to jump to conclusions and rate this to high or to low just cause it was Nas and it's hard for me to hate anything he does tbh considering i been rocking with him since Illmatic/IWW. After numerous listens though i can say that this is a damn good to great album and should rate high in his discography. For him to be pushing 50 and still spitting at this level (and even still this is nowhere near prime Nas) is amazing and he should be lauded for his longevity and ability to keep himself relevant all these years later. If this does not solidify Nas as top 5 dead or alive i don't think it's anything else he can do to change someone's mind. And that's ok just as long as you recognize greatness and Nas is definitely that.
