If it's really a Dre album I'd say 2021. Just based on how Dre operates, I don't see him dropping an album he has been working on for (presumably) less than 6 months. He's gonna be tinkering with that shyt.

If it's Premo then I can def see it coming out before the end of the year. Winter NY album.

We don’t know its been less than 6 months all we have is that snippet but with the pandemic slowing everything down Nas could’ve been in writing/studio mode with BOTH of them.

He said he really locked in with Hit Boy around February then had to shut everything down but they decided to finish. He could easily have been working with both of them when he decided to re-up.

But this is all just wishful thinking at this point. Hell he might not drop this year at all and wait until he can tour again to drop the “secret” project.

Literally ANYTHING can happen minus a Nas/Hov album which i’ll never believe will ever happen until the day it hits my headphones

But these clowns from RS, Pitchfork, DJ Booth and other PWI's push shyt like Brockhampton and music that push that agenda and call it "pushing the culture forward" cuz it's on some gay shyt.

I see so many HHT accounts that laud shyt like BH and Death Grips as the "standard" low-key. I actually don't mind some of their music but you ain't getting away with saying that The Money Store is a better album than illmatic lol.

I hear you but How’s It Going Down is a fukking classic record and would be so on any album. :dead: Some of them other records you mentioned and responded to are not on that level at all. You talking like Nas should be beyond reproach. Art is subjective. Rap ain’t no different. Everyone ain’t going to like everything the same. That don’t mean rappers shouldn’t try whatever they want. I’m glad Nas is an artist and seems to do his own thing regardless. We don’t get IWW if everyone wants him to stay in the illmatic box. We don’t get classic records like I Can if everyone wants him to do Memory Lane Part 13. But what’s wrong with saying Blaze a 50 is better than Dr. Knockboots?

You really didn't get where i was going. But imma let you cook. It ain't worth going back n forth about. But............
If you think fans grant Nas the same artistic freedom to do those type of records like his peers then apparently you haven't been paying attention

Honestly this type of shyt is disgusting. I really wish there was a way to fukk these crackas job up or somethin. This shyt ain’t even logical if u listened to the album. I missed the days where rappers would run up in these crackas studios. This review is damn near slander.
you ain't the only one. I was just thinkin the same shyt earlier

I’d wager its 100% a Davido song as Nas seems to be really working King’s Disease right now and he JUST dropped a video for Ultra Black yesterday and from all accounts a video for Spicy is coming soon.

For example, there was an eight month gap between the release of I Am and Nastradamus. The first single from I am Nas Is Like was released in March and Nastradamus title track single was released in November alongside the album.

King’s Disease could potentially have three singles (Ultra Black, Spicy, and Replace Me) so the album/singles would need time to breathe.

If Nas REALLY intends to drop another album it would probably be in winter. Before Untitled started his run of summer albums, the previous five Nas albums had been released in winter months (Stillmatic-Hip Hop Is Dead) that would give King’s Disease enough to time to be worked properly and then he could start promo for the new album that could carry his momentum well into 2021 (Allah willing by that time PERHAPS he could start touring again)
I asked because the other day someone asked Hit-Boy what he had coming up
and he mentioned everything but this Davido and Nas song. Haven't seen Davido
promote or even hint that something new is on the way either. It had me thinking what if Nas thought
to himself that he had plenty of Singles for Kings Disease and since I got Davido out here in LA right now
let me shoot the video for this song and when it's time for the new album I'm locked and loaded with a single
that has a video ready to go...Idk it just has me thinking.

Why is this white boy's face continuing to pop up on my phone screen? How is it possible that yall care this much lol especially about a trash article that's so poorly written(didn't read it btw)
i think mainly because its' written for a big publication and that bullshyt narrative will falsely go around

it's just crazy to me that you have writers for sites like rolling stone and pitchfork trying to call out nas' misogynism while there are decades of abuses by white artists and other critical darlings that they just ignore, or sweep under the rug, until they can't anymore. they're smart enough to write about nas being a (pretty mild) misogynist but not to unpack the history of their publication's name, like rolling stone, or their place in music history, like pitchfork.

here's a few examples of the shyt i'm talking about:

- rolling stone is a magazine named after a group of men who have undoubtedly hit and taken advantage of women over the 50 years they've been around - definitely more than anyone they call out
- in 2010-2011 pitchfork pushed the hipster agenda around lana del rey being an industry plant and having no control over her music or image, which was a misogynist argument in itself. they've never looked back at their own conduct around it
- pitchfork JUMPED on the chicago stuff when keef blew up, put up a video dry snitching on him and got him arrested again. he was 17 or 18 at the time, and they were all adults who should've seen the risks of what they were filming. i've never seen them talk about it
- i'm not even going to bother to name the hundreds of artists who these publications adore who will never be held to account for stuff that they've done. but it's interesting to see that jay-z gets a free pass from all of them. nobody would deny that he's abused women in the past, but nobody wants to talk about it either. why the fukk do they think solange was :demonic: in the elevator

somehow all of this is a problem, but only for nas.

Let's not use Jay bro. It makes it seem like Nas fans are simply stanning or not being rational.
But trust n believe at the opportuned time, they'll sell jay down a river too
