I read the review. He didn’t identify a single line on the abum that was misogynistic noR explain how the Doja Cat or Gayle King lines were misogynistic.

Also, he’s White, so he’s out of line for even speaking on the situation with Doja Cat. It’s up to the black community to asses Doja Cat’s blackness. As a white person he should just shut the fukk up about the whole situation.

also, he looks like he’s 12. What are his qualifications to even be given a platform to review a hip hop album in the first place?

this shyt has to stop.

Till the War is Won but Nas hates women:laff::laff:Cacs:mjlol:

shyt is insane. I'm not saying only black people can have an opinion on our shyt, but you need to be of the culture. Like I fukking hate Rosenberg but he loves the shyt clearly and gets it. Eminem loves hiphop culture more than a lot of black people I know. So it's not a race thing. But when it' s someone who is TOTALLY outside of it, fukk them. This shyt aint for you.

I dont know why this shyt got me so hot. :mjlol:

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Why do people hate Nas having fun on albums so much..
Is it not a good thing to be a well rounded individual

Anytime he goes a lil light, problems!

Who killed it
I can
Hey Nas
Reach out

You damn purists or traditionalists or whatever you call yourselves are a damn headache. The album ain't just for you only.

Just like I understood what biggie was doing with playa hater. It didn't take away from the album for me.

Nas is treated like a sacred cow. So many damn boundaries placed on him. Good thing he just does him.

Imagine if Nas pulled a dmx n placed a "how's goin down" type record in the middle of "Hardcore" Illmatic. Some of you did take away a mic n a half n he will never hear the end of it
I hear you but How’s It Going Down is a fukking classic record and would be so on any album. :dead: Some of them other records you mentioned and responded to are not on that level at all. You talking like Nas should be beyond reproach. Art is subjective. Rap ain’t no different. Everyone ain’t going to like everything the same. That don’t mean rappers shouldn’t try whatever they want. I’m glad Nas is an artist and seems to do his own thing regardless. We don’t get IWW if everyone wants him to stay in the illmatic box. We don’t get classic records like I Can if everyone wants him to do Memory Lane Part 13. But what’s wrong with saying Blaze a 50 is better than Dr. Knockboots?

Brehs, this might be close-minded of me but this is exhibit 5,055 why gatekeepers are important. This kind of flagrant sensationalism should not be allowed. I hate that these cats have a platform to spew this kind of bullshyt. Low-key one of the downsides to rap getting as big and universal as it has. Hate to see it.

hes not even 27 summers old. And that’s the real disrespect.

They’d never give a new rolling stone album review to some junior writer. Hip hop wasnt and never will be considered art by these publications. They just hopped on reluctantly when they had to and have faked it since.

Just don’t pay no attention to these crackas mane

I normally don’t if they say album x was bad or whatever as they don’t know shyt but to come and say this is ‘the most woman hating album of the year’ is smearing Nas’ name

considering how many empowered black women love Nas and are saying they love the album it’s ridiculously disrespectful to say what he’s said publicly having written review for Rolling Stone

The problem I’ve noticed is Pitch Fork and all these ‘woke’ white people got into hip hop it seems in the 2010s. Hip hop came the darling of white ‘critics’ around then so they love the new guys and Jay because Jay Z (no hate) knows how to pander to these sorts of people

Any of the old school hated on lot of the time.

these the same people who loved TPAB but hated on Untitled
