He got songs recorded with some people that he forgot about. :ohhh:I forget who specifically but he said it one of his recent interviews.

This one has a different reception from the public and his peers that he hasn't really received since Stillmatic.

Nah

We truly are forgetting about how acclaimed and celebrated Life Is Good was within the culture, the mainstream, and the critics. That album was getting JUST as much love as KD is getting now and i simply can’t BELIEVE that the collective conscious is trying to erase that.

Its like Nas isn’t allowed to have a classic album after Stillmatic. Hip Hop Is Dead was celebrated and acclaimed when it dropped and as soon as Untitled was announced the narrative was revised to “Hip Hop Is Dead was a disappointment”. Untitled got incredible reviews and was being used as a teaching tool for Professors in certain colleges. Then Distant Relatives was announced and the narrative was revised as “Untitled was unfocused and he put the best songs on The ****** Tape”. Then Life Is Good was announced and the narrative for DR was revised to “Nobody asked for a Nas/.Damien Marley album”

Now we’ve got King’s Disease and people want to act like the album was full of Summer On Smashes when it was a fukking masterpiece and EVERYONE loved it when it dropped

shyt is absurd

To me that is one of Nas's best songs. The stories told, the flow, Anthony Hamilton, and the music was just :ohlawd:. Reminded me of "What Goes Around", which is also one of my favorite Nas songs.
Yeah, I don't get the dislike for that song. It might be the first one that really hit me off that album. Summer on Smash can hit the bricks, but World's an Addiction? Yeah, that's top tier IMO.

And of course Life is Good is a classic. Anyone saying otherwise needs to have their ears cleaned.

The biggest missed opportunity lies in Nas’ inability to reach beyond the ambitious presentation found in everything surrounding the lyrics. He’s entertaining in spurts, but much like his “godly” contemporary Jay-Z, one has to wonder if what he says ever really matters on “King’s Disease” any more.
:mjlol::mjlol:This cac opinion please stop giving these devils clicks

I didn’t get it either, so he wants Nas to be more famous and godly like Jay for his message to connect? :russ: This is what happens sadly, a site like Rap Reviews will prob pay zero or peanuts but get a suburban gen z cac to review as they prob only people willing and able sadly... def not giving a shyt about his perspective
