this will be another gold plaque for a hip hop artist that is damn near 20 years in the game. been through all eras and still is relevant enough to be discussed like crazy over the internet. please post a list of artist from 94 and before that can successfully drop a gold selling album? please post a artist from today who everybody loves that will be dropping gold selling albums 20 years from now?

that is an incredible feat. even more considering nas aint a radio single pop star kinda artist. dude is more related to back pack conscious "real hip hop" that most artist run away from due to that type of music inability to perform well on the charts and get major radio spins

yet nas did it and the closest you can get to saying he sold out for a radio hit is "you owe me" which was over a decade ago!
