To be fair the war never had chance to be all that. If it was against all 5 of the major hidden villages then yeah it could have been dope (although even then I doubt it), but with such a good vs. evil/black and white structure (Tobi, Kabuto and an army of zombies and monsters wanting to rule the world vs the humans and everyone wanting peace) the potential evaporated. There's no moral conflict, no complexity...just poorly done resolutions.
Plus the secondary characters can't really get that much shine given everything else going around and Kishimoto not giving a shyt about them. To give them the spotlight now after ignoring them for like 300+ chapters would come off as far-fetched and drag the plot even further. May as well focus on Naruto and the Uchiha and get this story over with.
And let's be real, the series jumped the shark a LOOONG time ago, probably around the time when Chouji survived that red pill in Part 1. At this point the series is just jumping over galaxies. I'll keep reading just to see how stupid the story gets.

Narutos progress has been too rapid. His ability to come out of training that was incomplete woth killerbee and use the powers efficiently in the war is

Im always gonna read it but man this war is
wanted to see more death to more bigger characters so like its the passing of the torch sense. Bleach over here looking like who not gonna die with the way them jokers came in SS crushing the buildings
Personally I don't even understand why Kishi won't kill some characters in this war, because in addition to making the threat more believeable, death scenes are one of his strengths. Zabuza and Haku, Sarutobi, Jiraiya, Sasori, Deidara, Asuma, Kisame, Danzo... the list is pretty impressive. All of them had awesome deaths, especially the bolded.
if they would kill all the kages except Gaara maybe keep the female one alive she look fairly young.
Then kill like the non unimportant rookie 9 people this war could look more dope
Can make kakashi and his black look alike the new hokage and kage since both seem very similar in a sense
Naruto would be looked like the ultimate hokage/kage over all them

Breh almost everything about Tobirama is a damn mystery. Even his death is kinda suspect.

Possible candidates could be the Tsuchikage, Killa-B, and Tsunade...I don't see anyone from the Konoha 9 dying. Then again if someone dies, Kabuto can resurrect them for his needs, whenever he awakes from that genjutsu.
Chances of dying:
-Tsuchikage: Somewhat high, but who knows. I thought he'd die for sure against Madara but he keeps on surviving no matter what, so maybe the old man will make it.
-Tsunade: Low. At first I thought she might die, but Dan just told her it's not her time yet. Plus I'm pretty sure she'll live to make Naruto hokage. So she survives, but she may have to retire after this fight.
-Raikage: Medium. I mean Kishi COULD kill him off, but I don't really see why. Plus I don't know who from his village would take his spot.
-Mizukage (Mei): Low. Kishi doesn't kill off young characters too much, especially younger women. Plus we don't have much backstory on her, so her death wouldn't have much impact.
-Gaara: Very low. Too young, he's part of Naruto's generation. Plus he already died when Akatsuki captured him, it would be redundant to have him die again.
-Killerbee: Medium. I thought there was a good chance he would be captured, but since Tobi figured out a way to summon the Juubi without him, he might be safe.
-Kakashi: Low. He already died against Pain, if Kishi wanted him dead he would've let him stay dead.
-Gai: Not important enough.
Konoha rookies: Low. Sasuke promised Naruto he wouldn't kill any of them. He might beat them up tho.
