was there any relevence to Naruto finding out the bijuu's real names, they made it seem last yr like that was going to somehow help in this fight last yr.

They gave him chakra. That's why the juubi flipped out at one point (he could sense their chakra in uzi) and tried to bolivia him with a bijuu-dama.
I thought it was to show how naruto respected the bijuus and did not treat them weapons like everyone else. If that's not it
