Is Itachi still under the impression that Tobi is Madara? but he referred to Tobi as being "Tobi"...
Was Itachi Jiraiya's source with regards to the inner workings of the Akatsuki and if he wasn't, who was the source?

In another chapter I think Itachi said he was working as a double agent so I think Jiraiya got some of his information from him. We still don't know who the fukk this guy is. We could spend pages talking about him. The real Madara was definitely alive long enough to have met Nagato, so the guy that Itachi was talking to was probably the real deal.
Tobi is definitely an apprentice or a clone of Madara. We don't even know if Tobi is actually even an Uchiha. He hasn't used any typical Uchiha moves. No fire based techniques, or mangekyou sharingan techniques. He used Izanagi but that doesn't mean shyt if a non uchiha like Danzo could use Izanagi too.
