The midterms proved Hillary wasn’t unpopular. The electorate is stupid and racist.Establishment democrats lost over 800 state seats and 13 governorships during Obama’s tenure ... the largest shift in power since Eisenhower ... then topped it off by running one of the most unpopular candidates of all time who eventually lost to a fukking reality tv show star and muthafukkas talking about tone deaf
You can’t keep ignoring the nature of the country. There’s not all this “goodwill” out there. They’re racist, bigoted, and terrible. And there’s more of them than you want to believe.
The Dems haven’t controlled a branch of government in 2 years .. I’ll let you let that sink in while you consider what message the electorate was sending on Tuesday

I agree with him on a policy front but this is something that has to be address with some white progressive ideologues in particular. I can get down with attacking the inherent problems in this economic system and god knows, black folks see the worst of it. But in a constant attempt to appeal to the white classes in the Midwest and rurul parts of america, some of these individuals are afraid to be direct about how racism is ingrained in American society and drive how a lot of people think, have a blind spot for it, or consciously believe it's unimportant because it effects groups outside of theirs .
The journalist Chris Hedges was interviewed on the intercepted podcast this week and is one of these guys who I rightly believe highlights the dysfunction of our system but are so single track minded towards that goal and dismiss legitimate worries of other groups who don't have the luxury to have intellectual masturbation sessions about tearing down the system consequences be damned. Jeremy brought this critique up that is expressed by say black and woman voters and this dude pretty much said "yeah it's important BUT"
If RBG dies, this white dude will probably not feel the impact a Trump replacement as much as a black person who now has to realistically worry about civil right legislation being dismantled and their slow disenfranchisement.

Was Gillum honestly a good candidate? I can without a doubt say Abrams had all of the qualities of a good candidate and her performance in red ass Georgia seals it. .With Gillum I was little
