honestly its opportunity out here right now but its not gonna be for long

america will never let blacks truly progress which takes generations of success

every time we start catching up...they do something or put something on us to make sure we dont progress too much

This is an incredibly misleading title. We are worse off compared to 4 years ago and compared to the US economy overall. But AAs have always trailed the rest of the nation in employment and prospects. That's not being worst off, that's being consistent. I'm more interested in the agenda he is going to propose.

It's true, we're consistently worse off than the American public at large. The mediocrity is a constant.

So pretty much what you're saying is everything is still status quo...

We had to pick our poison.I voted for Obama TWICE even tho I knew he wasn't going to do much for the black community.Romney would have dealt us the death blow.

Obama's the president of America not Black America, even though Black America is a part of America. Obama being re-elected is good enough even if black people can't find jobs and lose their homes. Our pride in his half-blackness will keep us warm at night.
