but to cut him off completely and then flip on sanaa in the process? nah that was kinda hoeish

shyt happened in the span of a few weeks, it's reasonable. as for flipping on monica, she bounced for curfew when he needed her, playing in a game was more important, so why would he continue to keep her on a pedestal?

as someone who had to confront their pop's cheating at 21 yrs old, i completely understand the reaction

whoa monica's world doesn't stop because quincy is having family problems. she still has a responsibility to herself, her scholarship, teammates, and the school. he should have understood that she was being supportive but duty called; so just go to the game the next day & chop it up with her afterwards


and i understand being crushed by his father's cheating, i mean he done had a baby outside the family. but getting mad and declaring for the draft because of it was irrational. ruined his career behind that

Yeah I've never been the biggest fan of this movie either idk the story just didn't do it for me, alot of those lovey dovey scenes were kinda .

It's got the classic title mainly due to the love making/romance parts but most of the movie was dull and Omar wasn't convincing as a basketball player .

My girl loves this movie so I'm forced to watch it but I usually zone out after eating ice cream .

This movie is a undeniable CLASSIC. First of all, anything with the gorgeous Sanaa Lathan is a must-watch for me. I'm also a huge fan of Omar Epps. And that's without getting into how good the acting was.

This movie could come on at any time and I'll watch it. Only other movie I fukk with this heavy is Remember the Titans. I watch those two films whenever they're on TV cause they're the ultimate feel good movies.

Yea there was some suspension of disbelief required to believe Omar Epps was a basketball player, but otherwise a great movie.
