Inception is 'first out' status. I really liked that movie. The other 3...i liked Tenet but i'm good.

that audio mixing

Dope Thread. Appreciate your list... but lets get to it.

I would've been good if you left off all of Nolan's movies (I'm not counting Dark Knight), but Interstellar was just a dud to me. Vs. the Brilliance of The Prestige and originality/uniqueness and dopeness of Memento.

No Eddie Murphy 80's Action Piff?
Beverly Hills Cop
48 Hours
Golden Child

No Last Dragon damn near makes me want to cry.:mjcry:

I love me some Clint Eastwood westerns
Fistful of Dollars Trilogy
High Plains Drifter
Unforgiven

Tom Cruise Action/SciFi Category needs representation
Mission Impossible 2nd wave, pick one.
Edge of Tomorrow
Oblivion

Random recommendations from me.

Beverly Hills Cop - oversight, definitely worthy of the list
48 Hours - probably deserves another watch, haven't watched in like 15 years
Golden Child - personally think its overrated :hubie:

Fistful of Dollars Trilogy
High Plains Drifter
Unforgiven

mentioned but westerns aren't really my genre with a couple exceptions, but getting into a couple classics in the past couple years, maybe I grew up into them. Worth a shot on a rewatch, it seems.

Mission Impossible 2nd wave, pick one. - the last two are legit and I look forward to the next, but they aren't list worthy to me.
Edge of Tomorrow - this was entertaining but not as memorable to me as some say. I watched it 1 1/2 times and have no desire to revisit it. It was fine.
Oblivion - well made, but it didn't really stick with me. Well written and good cgi but it come across as classic to me.

I'm good with all of these answers, but excluding "The Last Dragon" hurts my heart breh.

But I don't know what year you were born, so that definitely matters.

There arent a lot of modern westerns i like tbh....its not my main genre though my darling clemetine is a much older wyatt erp film. Once upon a time in the west is my favorite of the genre.

unforgiven might deserve another watch tho

I think one of the things I love most about Unforgiven is just how much it de-glamorize's the Western genre - Clints character doesnt look back on his life and glorify it. The whole saga of Richard Harris' character being this legendary gunslinger but he's reduced to nothing but a bumbling drunk idiot by Gene Hackman who dismisses and embarrasses him after all the build up of the "Duke of Death". The Kid who thinks there is glory in killing, but when faced with it, can barely pull the trigger and Clint has to end up sending him home with his tail tucked in

Just amazing performances all around too - Eastwood, Hackman, Freeman and Richard Harris - all on the top of their game. Honestly this might be Gene Hackman's best role IMO

its an amazing film, you should rewatch it through the lens of a line Clint drops near the end - "It's a hell of a thing killing a man. You take away all he's got, and all he's ever gonna have." That line really puts the whole thing into perspective.

Now I might have to watch it again tonight. Its just an amazing experience IMO

Also the end credit song is haunting and perfect. Clint wrote the music himself supposedly?!

you got some good movies on there bro. Your top 10 don't look like mine aside from maybe 2 flicks and I doubt I have Ferris Bueller in my top 50. But Its a classic.

Not many obscure or outside the box flicks in there. Which isn't a bad thing, but overall mostly all good movies. All watchable. All repayable.

Not seeing Aliens on there tho. :francis:

You've been hyped about the Barbie movie for like 7 years.

I mean, to each their own....

..but you've been hyped about the Barbie movie...for 7 years...that is something I'll never understand the love for :francis:

Because Barbie is a global brand with sales of over $3 billion worldwide

Rewatchability goes a long way with me. Typically a big measure of how much i like a film (excluding movies with a huge twist or something)

aliens is cool but its kind of like how matrix reloaded is good, but it diverts from what i liked about the original. Same with die harder. Alien had that mystery and suspense that aliens doesnt to me. Very good, but not on the list.

and yeah, most of those films were major releases. Not a lot of smaller films...i could add Las Ninas Bien, Jackie O, and some others one day
