I hope he would rather be KG more than Dirk tbh. Tall guys shooting 3's gets glorified but shyt KG was a beast man

Ehh they both had different strengths and weaknesses

Kg was never a dominant enough scorer to be the main scoring option on a title team like Dirk was

No way KG could have done what Dirk did in the 2012 playoffs and take a team on his back to win a title like Dirk scoring wise

Dirk had Kidd and Tyson who were both awesome. KG did everything really well.

Melo :hhh:
Rose has been equally horrendous, too.

Yeah that is why even with KP at the 5, Melo is so horrible defensively that whether it is a stretch 4 or traditional 4 the Knicks give up defensively whatever advantage they get on offense. Noah's lateral quickness is done at this point, aside from his huge K there is no reason he should be starting:scust: Putting KOQ at the 5 would be a better alternative. Rose is horrible defensively, I have to look at some old Bulls videos to figure out how the hell Thibs was able to mask Rose's horrible BBIQ.

that is the false JR Smith is better than Wilson Chandler, Gallinri blew two ACL's so lets not forget that and Felton cameback

the biggest thing that fukked up this franchise is the trade for Bargarbage we gave up a first round pick for that nikka and he fukked everything up it was bad enough we had amare then we added that nikka and it fukked us up after 54 win season

Two things.

JR didn't come to NY in the Melo trade, he came after the lock out and playing in China for like 3 mil I believe. In theory he could of just join the Knicks core and they would of been even deadlier.

Gallo and Wilson even if the injuries repeated themselves could of been trade bait. Even now if either was on the Knicks they would be a much better team whenever they were healthy.

Right now Hardaway looks like a much better player off the bench and you question the trade for him for a Grant who we traded for Rose for I assume additional cap space when we don't really need cap space......

Its a history of a lot of fukkery right now. With Bargarbage being the most blatant fukkery of the last few years.

True they games are like night and day. .but me personally I prefer versatility over a nikka that GAWDLY in one area.

Until it gets waived I don't believe Melo will do it. I could also, maybe see him doing it this summer when more teams can just absorb him or he and CP3 can organize to go to a team together. Waiting for the summer just gives him a lot more options....

:scust:
Or he could try and force Phil to pay CP3 to come here with his old knees for 150 Mil
:scust:

This off season is the last real chance to move Melo. However, I actually think there is a decent argument to try and move him as soon as possible to avoid any potential injuries and to try and get picks NOW instead of picks later.

O'quinn (a trade Phil won!!) is weird they either need to trade him with his value being high (he's worth a first round pick easy) or just commit to him being the starting center of the future with Willy as his back up. The issue is Willy for a rookie looks like he could become a starting Center too given enough time, and O'quinn is going to get paid around Mozgov money next year when this current contract ends.

I would trade him instead of losing him for nothing, while he is an upgrade over Noah he struggles with stretch 4's. I would like to see WCS from Sacramento here in NY because of his defensive versatility.
