The way Phil has handled all of this has been pretty unprofessional, and it's not even the first time Phil has behaved in such a manner. I'm not saying Melo shouldn't be traded, but for Phil to scapegoat him, then run to the media to attempt to drive Melo out is weak as shyt. Pull that man to the side and tell him it's not working out, and acknowledge you put together a shytty roster that most people knew wouldn't be good from jump. Phil isn't that far away from the hot seat himself, if he fukks up a Melo trade and this upcoming offseason then it's probably a wrap for him.

Breh, I remember watching almost every game since Melo came to NY.

I remember Melo making passes to people open on the perimeter who consistently clanked shots.

I remember him getting surgery the summer after the playoffs because he refused to take time in order to be there for the team in the 'offs.

Melo is a flawed player, absolutely. But we in here acting like any other player, outside of Jordan and LeBron, would have taken the Melo rosters and made a gourmet meal out of Kraft Mac and cheese, breh.

Again, I'm conceding the Melo era has been a failure and by himself, he couldn't elevate this team anywhere near as high as people hyped you to do...

But I also know this organization as one who has almost never seen their premier player exit gracefully...
