Just like Zach sucked and we traded him for shyt right, and he's been a core player for the grizzles since

:stopitslime:

JR and Shump could of got us more in a trade but everybody was like "they sucked" now look at them

:hhh:

Very few players can carry a bad team. If he gets traded for bullshyt its going to be the JR/Shump trade times 10 in hindsight. They need to see him for a top player at his position and get compensated accordingly

The team needs to be built through the draft. They need better players. Porzingis is a nice start.

fukk out of here..... Donnie let me resign Billups to amnesty him a week later? Oh wait look at Amare breaking down?

Or Donnie Hey we need a PG...... Curry got taken so likes draft Jordan Hill forget teague and Jennings......?

Or Donnie Lets do the Melo trade and fukk the team up to get Melo now?

fukk Walsh:hhh:
Nah, dog when Donnie took over this franchise we had no cap space or assets it was the dark ages... :mjcry:

Under Donnie we were able to clear $27M in cap space which allowed us to sign Amar'e Stoudemire. He also got us Carmelo Anthony and this all led to some playoff visits and a 54 win season. Donnie took Hill but he also drafted some good players. It wasn't perfect but it got us more success than we've had in a long time. Phil tanked and happen to pick KP other than that he's been lackluster and a media diva.

Also he wasn't even eyeing porzingis like that he pretty much fell in the Knicks lap

No one is denying that, but a lot of shytty players are making money in the range of Melo..... based on his salary and the fact he should be a stretch PF..... He doesn't suck.

That's the issue with NY we never stop and say "the players good, they just aren't good with us"..... I let Phil go with Shump and JR because he was new to being a GM and probably look at them as malcontents, but at this point he should know Melo is a commodity that teams could use

Dude if Shump and JR are on the Knicks we still stink. The role players arent the problem here. The two guys taking all the shots and playing no defense making a collective 60 mill are garbage. Rose and Melo are horrible. But Dolan loves the big name regardless of production and will continue to chase his tail making dumb deal after dumb deal for these goofballs.

That's what I mean though, the make up of the knicks is bad. Melo isn't bad, he's on a team with no good defenders besides KP and Lee, and Rose is on some my turn, your turn shyt offensively.

Melo goes to a team where he can operate as the stretch 4 with good guards and Defense and he'll start to look like olympic Melo again.

Honestly if he's moved, and the knicks don't get some picks/youth then Phil is bad at his job. Even if he has to sweeten the pot in a melo trade with Lee or KOQ. The take away should be a decent/good amount of youth and a clear understanding the knicks are going to try and build a team around KP's timetable.

Bring back isiah and Marbury back. Sign Iverson.
Give Melo a co gm title and co coach so they can play ISO ball and feed him more shots. Trade KP for a pick. Bring back to worst days again.

I could see why some fans on here are extremely against the Melo trade

The guy won you A playoff series how do you let that go
Nah.

I just really like the guy.

I'm a Knick fan, through and through. I really just wish we could have been successful with the breh.

I do think it's been at a disadvantage since we traded so much to get him here.

I also blame Amare Stoudemire and us using the amnesty on billups instead of Amare.

As Knicks fans, we've complained about management longer than we've complained about Melo.

I've been complaining about the organization since every game Van Gundy coached was at a threat of them firing him...

Sad state of affairs. The Melo era is absolutely closing. I think all of the pro Melo people pretty much see that.

I just think Melo has gotten way more hate than he deserved.

You say that but when Lebron had to sacrifice his entire body to play every position in the Finals when Jr and Shump were his 2 and 3 option.

Seeing Melo literally having to carry every game for so many years... It's hard for me to crucify him so easily.

Taking a lot of shots does not equal carrying a team

You're right.

Breh, I remember watching almost every game since Melo came to NY.

I remember Melo making passes to people open on the perimeter who consistently clanked shots.

I remember him getting surgery the summer after the playoffs because he refused to take time in order to be there for the team in the 'offs.

Melo is a flawed player, absolutely. But we in here acting like any other player, outside of Jordan and LeBron, would have taken the Melo rosters and made a gourmet meal out of Kraft Mac and cheese, breh.

Again, I'm conceding the Melo era has been a failure and by himself, he couldn't elevate this team anywhere near as high as people hyped you to do...

But I also know this organization as one who has almost never seen their premier player exit gracefully...

Not Frazier, Not Ewing... Nobody. This organization is a true embarrassment.

So much wrong with it.

.

That's because Melo refused to wait till the summer to sign with the Knicks he wanted to get traded so he could get to the Knicks and get as much money as possible

If you want your money fine but you then can't complain that you don't have enough help :hubie:
