man I am trying hard to remember who else was that interested in Noah that the knicks felt compelled to give him that cash

This isnt true. It was heavily rumored that the Warriors would pursue Noah if the Durant deal fell through.

But thats neither here nor there.

We're not even out of the month of december, and so many loudmouthed knick fans are considering the book closed on Noah and want him traded immediately. How is that logical?

Its ironic that a lot of y'all are bigging up KOQ at the expense of Noah. If y'all would have had your way, KOQ definitely wouldnt have been brought back. Almost all knick "fans" were convinced he was trash and worthless because of his inconsistent play last year.

Knick fans love their overly harsh, rash, emotional judgments, and want everyone traded and fired after a three game losing streak. Shyt is annoying.

I remember when y'all ran players like Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford out of here instead of giving them a chance to grow with the organization.

Im not making excuses for Noah's play. Its been disappointing. But can y'all at least wait until the damn all star break to freak out? Besides, we all know he was brought in here for what he could provide during the playoffs, and not mid-december road games against the nuggets.

I dont have to wait that long on Noah's play....

Noah has not been good for some time even BEFORE he got to the Knicks.

I thought it was a bad contract to begin with.

The Knicks are not my team but I am rooting for them to be good....I am on record as stating I have them vs the Cavs in my darkhorse ECF.

At this point Noah is a deficit on both ends of the court....

Could this change? SURE

Is this likely to change............I would be very surprised. Being rational about him doesnt mean hate. But I bet if many people could get him traded for some useful pieces they would. Hornacek and Phil included.

the problem with this argument is..is that kyle makes 4 million and noah makes 4x more than him
kyles problem wasnt his physical capability it was inconsistency
noah is fukking washed
he has no lateral movement or explosiveness....and he is a nonfactor offensively in all means if it comes to putting the ball in the hole
he's had more subpar games than solid games.

It's game night fam. The Pacers won a thriller last night and the starters logged big minutes. They're a good team that I think has looked better with Robinson starting than Ellis personally, but they should be fatigued between the back to back and just a rough schedule for the past couple of weeks. This game should be a win, it should be a win even if Rose wasn't playing thanks to the two day rest. Push the pace, don't let these cats off the hook with cheap fouls and get this ish back on track. Wear these cats out!!! Good night to bet Blue and Orange imo.

Except we are the New York Knicks:mjgrin:

It's great to have games on at a reasonable time again:blessed:

Whether KOQ makes 1 dollar, or 100 million, y'all still wouldnt have wanted him on the squad if y'all had your way so his salary is moot. Its the comical rush to negativity thats the problem here when it comes to how so many of y'all assess our players.

And Noah definitely wasnt signed because of his "explosiveness" or his offensive prowess. I dont think Noah could jump over an xbox at any point in his career. He was brought in for his leadership, toughness, passing, defense and his reputation for being a key cog on winning teams year in and year out.

As bad as he's struggled, he's still right around his career average for rebounds. His stats have never been jump off the page material.

I guess Im being irrational by wanting to actually give him a season to re-establish himself before I want him gone.

Chill on the pocket watching. Noah cashed in because the cap greatly expanded. All high profile free agents did. Shyt, is Mike Conley a 30 million a year, max player? The way we value players monetarily even two years ago is not how we value them now in this market. If y'all are just bitter over how much Noah makes then this convo about his play will forever be closed.

he was signed for defensive intensity and yes noah was above average athletically when he was younger(so miss me with that)...thats why i mentioned explosiveness...he cant block shots.
he doesnt defend the rim well he gets blown by on pick and rolls he's actually bad defensively compared to what he used to be.
you might be irrational cause the bulls fans will tell you he hasnt been himself in over 2 years...so to expect significant improvement going forward is complete wishful thinking
fukk the pocket watching im watching the years.
lol @ turning this into a money thing...its a talent thing
he wasnt worth the money or year commitment.

We're not even out of the month of december, and so many loudmouthed knick fans are considering the book closed on Noah and want him traded immediately. How is that logical? Because he's an energy and effort player and has been garbage in bringing that. And has shown absolutely NO reason to think it's coming.

Its ironic that a lot of y'all are bigging up KOQ at the expense of Noah. If y'all would have had your way, KOQ definitely wouldnt have been brought back. Almost all knick "fans" were convinced he was trash and worthless because of his inconsistent play last year. Hell yeah. I'll cop to that. Based on the way he played last year, what Knick fan would've been upset if he got moved in the offseason? Now he's contributing. So he can stay. But if they find a trade that makes sense that includes him, it is what it is, and so far this year I've been a fan.

Knick fans love their overly harsh, rash, emotional judgments, and want everyone traded and fired after a three game losing streak. Shyt is annoying. :yeshrug:

I remember when y'all ran players like Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford out of here instead of giving them a chance to grow with the organization. :francis: Come on son. Unless Donnie Walsh post here or something. Walsh traded them to dump salary to chase Lebron in summer 2010. Nobody ran them outta town. The Knicks were 8-5 when they traded them.

Im not making excuses for Noah's play. Its been disappointing. But can y'all at least wait until the damn all star break to freak out? Besides, we all know he was brought in here for what he could provide during the playoffs, and not mid-december road games against the nuggets.
:dwillhuh: You gonna bless Noah with some HGH? What's gonna happen between now and all-star break to turn it around for him?
