the league as a whole is a pick and roll league...outside of the absolute best offenses like the warriors (which still uses a shyt load of pnr)

I miss Lopez and I feel you but watching D. Rose slash to the rim on our way to a lottery draft pick is something I can live through the pain with.
I don't think it would have been that big of a deal if you just let Grant sink or swim this year.

Umm... The way most offenses are run, if you're a center who can't guard the perimeter, you're basically useless. He HAS to learn to guard stretch fours....it's not even guarding the perimeter that's the issue. It's staying on his assignment if they know how to shoot.Porzingis shouldn't even be out on the perimeter guarding shooters. Dude is fast for a 7'3" player but he's still 7'3". I'm sick of seeing him get killed on the perimeter by stretch 4s.

Exactly everybody tends to make excuses for KP it is sickening sometimes, i think Horny has to make a decision soon because Melo, Noah and Porizingis is a trash frontcourt especially with KP and Melo playing the same position and Noah inability or lack of confidence in his game right now.
Also Horny liked playing 3 guards in Phoenix at the sametime in NY he hasn't been able to do that as much but again i think this Bulls team matches up well for the knicks because they won't be able to expose Melo or KP which the Cavs(love), Pistons(Morris, TB), ROckets(Anderson) were doing and also Horny has to find a way to stagger the lineup in the second quarter so if the knicks don't have a lead shyt doesn't explode to double digits
So Grant is better than KP
And Rose is a huge upgrade over Grant & Calderon. SMH, this slow start has people saying some outlandish sh*t.

kristaps takes the principle of always helping as a 7'3 big man...while guarding another big man in the post...out to the perimeter.
its a habit i know he'll break with experience.
you help off a shooter thats driving towards your side....that just leaves a 3 point shooter wide open...granted most 4s shoot like ryan anderson....so he needs to adjust to the opposing personnel

id rather gamble on a successful season with a chance of it crashing and burning...than go into a year already dead on arrival.
