Extra hype, hype piece...read to get excited. It sets his ceiling way higher than people are willing to normally do with their limited exposure to Frank and lack of fair comparison between french league and NCAA, but as long as you acknowledge that ceilings are supposed to be hard to reach; it's crazy but better than limiting the kid's upside.

Didn't even know he was born in Belgium...makes sense tho

I ain't buying the hype of Frankie 3 and D

We drafted him because he fit the triangle more then DSJ and Monk

:ld:Well, yes, Phil gave the okay on choosing him because he fit this elusive triangle, but, that doesn't mean there aren't things to analyze that may show promise, right?

His age, length, apparent maturity and work ethic and no MAJOR/BROKEN/Irreparable mechanics in his game mean there is a promising ceiling and it's up to environment/development.

How'd you feel about the Dennis Smith defense issues?

Breh that love fest article ended with comparing him to KPC :mjlol:

Smith will have issues on defense but will also be impossible to stop because he's a beast in the pick n roll which is basically most of what the NBA is built on nowadays.

Dudes in here taking about we needed Frank to sure up our defense like we should be drafting guys on how well they mesh with the current team when by the time were any good again 99 percent of the current players will be long gone :aicmon:

In today's NBA to be a star on the peremeter if you're not a freak athlete and speed wise you better shoot it like Steph which he doesn't.

He also has much better measurables for the direction the league is trending. I would have been Happy with Monk or DSJ, would have been excited to choose both. But I don't think there's much "hype" to buy, and in fact, I think there has been much more hype around DSJ and Monk than Frank.

I think Monk and DSJ both have potential areas of the game they can be great in (offensively) i don't see that with Frank.

Defense is a team thing so u can live with a weak link if u have good communication help defenders and rim protection. The Warriors masked Currys defensive deficiencies for years

It's clearly like the NFL now where it's turned into an offensive league with the rules favoring the offense. I'd rather take the player with great offensive potential then defensive potential.
