How does this buyout work? Does Melo she money still count towards the cap? And does he just give up his option for next year?

:ohhh: Makes sense now.

 That Cac fakkit CacStop was saying that they're blood brothers.

:mjgrin:His grandparents probably from Belgium.

 Right? @NY's #1 Draft Pick

 @CantStop

:dame:He makes CP look tiny.

:dame:

Ntilikina is obviously 100 % black, his parents most probably immigrated to Belgium. Lots of Rwandians did so.

I think Monk and DSJ both have potential areas of the game they can be great in (offensively) i don't see that with Frank.

Defense is a team thing so u can live with a weak link if u have good communication help defenders and rim protection. The Warriors masked Currys defensive deficiencies for years

It's clearly like the NFL now where it's turned into an offensive league with the rules favoring the offense. I'd rather take the player with great offensive potential then defensive potential.

I hear that. I have concerns that, even with his athleticism, Dennis Smith Jr. is too small to be a dominant force offensively. But I guess it's all shades of grey, like, for example -- How dominant is Dame Lillard? Because that is kinda what Smith profiles out to -- But smaller. Shorter with a shorter wingspan (potentially by a bunch) - I think he's gonna struggle to finish around size.

Monk is a guy you have to have to just BELIEVE he can dribble and operate in the half court, because he didn't show it in college, and toward the end of the season he and Fox were shooting similar %'s

On the other hand, both are explosive athletes. Which naturally gives you big potential if you can improve on individual skills.

On one hand he's out of touch, but on the other hand them mouse checks never late.

Unless there's a mandate to cut roster spots.

If you don’t mind me asking, what do you do?

I've done a bunch of things, but I'm currently writing and producing for TV (a news/politics program)

I see what you're saying with Lilliard and in general im not a fan of volume shooting small 2's masquerading as pg's but i think Smiths court vision and awareness is superior to a Lilliards.

The first time I saw DSJ in high school i noticed how effective he was in the pick n roll which is basically all most NBA teams run now

And Monk has question marks but can shoot the sh1t out of the ball which is more valuable then ever

Also seeing Booker in the NBA and a other guys from Kentucky I wonder if Monk wasn't able to show his full arsenal at UK
