Looks like the Knicks are my #2 team.
Think Dot can be a solid role player for you guys. Second round is a crap shoot but a good 3 and D guy is what you hope you get out of the pick. He can shoot the 3 off the bounce pretty well in addition to catch and shoot. Solid defender and a very good rebounder for his size. Supposedly showed off some passing/playmaking skills in the pre draft process but he wasn't asked to do much of that in college.
Hard worker off the court that's been thru some things (I see that rape case has already been brought up). Going off of memory but 3 or 4 Oregon players were falsely accused by a student (white girl if that matters to you) and banned from their campus. He had to go thru a vetting process that included a meeting with the UH president (a woman if that matters to you) to get his second chance and has been a model citizen since he's been back home.
I'm terrible at projecting NBA success so my recap of his game probably shouldn't mean much to y'all but I can tell y'all that he's not close to a "bad character" guy on or off the court.
