i was told melo was holding kp back:jbhmm:

2 games without melo he plays like shyt and the knicks lose :jbhmm:

melo comes back and KP has one of his best games of the year, 25 8 3 blocks and 2 steals:jbhmm:

matter fact, all the best games of KP's Career from his rookie season until today have occurred with melo on the floor:pachaha:

all good tho, pretty sure that bridge has been burned,

cant wait until next season when the fans are saying KP is overrated and we start the BALL lovefest:mjgrin:
considering the fact we roll out d league talent...and in sasha's case less than d league talent when melo is out is obvious enough that this argument is not strong enough to stand on
no melo? replace his rotational minutes with some players that should be china...shoutout to ndour, sasha, plumlee
like we dont have about 80 L's between last year and this year when both of them are playing.
you nikkas beating a dead horse....melos good enough on his own to get us 32 wins :francis:
destroy and rebuild. :scust: let it go :scust:

dis is not a matter of whether he should stay or not
im done that discussion
whatever happens happens
my point is, melo has only helped KP's career and his progress
anyone who thinks otherwise aint watching games

too many ppl acting like KP will turn into megatron if melo aint on the court and its simply nonsense

Melo as our "leader" is in that sweet 8th-12th pick in where we know we won't get shyt, but hear MSG talking like the kid will be a solid rotation piece for years to come.

KP would bee further along without Melo on the squad. He will learn how to adjust by being the main focus. Now that might not happen till year 4.

Tank or fukk off. Straight up, no time for this BS anymore with Melo on this team.

he helps....but honestly not that much. he's a buffer and shields him...but a part of me thinks he'd be better off without any help.
he needs to take his licks...and learn how to adjust. the best players arent coddled all the way until they get elite.

You grow as a player without all the coddling and on the sidelines to watch Melo brick yet another 3.

Melo is not an elite passer, he was a great ISO scoring threat. That helps nobody, but you guys bought into him helping mold KP when in fact he arguably has only hurt or delayed what he could become.

You guys acting like this dude is Steve Nash or something with a young Dirk :gucci:

Kp had a breakout rookie season with melo on the court

up until december he was playing even better and was averaging more points and rebounds (20 and 9 ) with melo on the floor

so yes, he can grow as a player without being a number 1 option

ask kawhi leonard

KP got hurt, probably got a little fatigued, and played like trash for 2 months and was never the same

thats on him, no one else

stop giving him passes

In my opinion, Melo helps KP more than he hurts. Ive always maintained that Melo helps his team just by the gravity he attracts offensively and through hockey assists. The ball holding hurts though for sure, but Melo still helps more than he hurts imo. Although, I think the combo of Melo and Rose was very toxic at times, because individualy Rose doesnt do much to help anybody, and two ball dominant players just stagnates the offense way too much.

Y'all starting to sound like the lonely hearts club out here.

Important to realize that you'll still be rooting for this team next season. And you'll have been rooting against their best interests.

You using one-off simple fans making obviously wrong arguments to try to score a moral victory here is kinda sad to watch. Obviously melo helps KP. Because most of this roster is backup-Slovenian Division 3 status.

But he would be better served with younger talent around him, who are all building at the same time.

They gave "surrounding Melo with vets" one last shot this summer. And it failed. Again.

The fact that you'd both get some kinda pleasure out of seeing the knicks hurt their future opportunities over your feelings about Melo is some truly weird, scorned shyt.

I mean, do you. But it kinda reinforces that you guys don't understand the game. :manny:

i'm glad you agree with the one and only point that i was making
all the rest of the stuff are saying is irrevelant
like i already said, i dont even want melo to play anymore at this point
the seasons over and we might as well get the highest pick possible
in the overall picture, with 2 years worth of evidence, the theory that melo is holding Kp back from greatness and he is better without him on the floor is a stupid one and is fueled by hate:yeshrug:
KP will tell you this himself:yeshrug:

i don't get pleasure in anything

unlike some of you, i dont have agendas. i love kp, but i call it how i see it:yeshrug:

Why do you always try and throw that no one knows the game point in your post. Thr poster you quoted said that melo hurting KP game is a fallacy by a lot of people on this board . You just decided to make bunch of points up to argue that @seemorecizzy didn't say
Also we are fans he didn't make us win or lose tonight and hurt our chances actually KP beasting is what hurt us :heh:
