LOL that opening quarter for KP was downright brutal and for Horny to keep doing this to kP is not right he doesn't have an iso game stop featuring him let him get his offense the way he got it against GSW pin downs and open shots.

and i love how NYC fans have been so kind Jeff Horny i mean he is the dumbest coach i have seen in sometime with the Knicks but he is white so nobody questions his intelligence level like they did Mike Woodson and Fisher who with less talent did the same or more, i mean Woodson would have this team in second place if we are being honest. Horny sucks and makes mind boggling decisions that should be criticizing his intelligence but the media won't because he is white. There is no system on defense i don't care what they say i see 12 guys ever night freestyle on defense he is a terrible coach and needs to be called out

There is positive, a lot of us are enjoying seeing the youth play not to mention the possibility of getting a pg in the draft to pair with KP.

My man -- the only positive thing left for this season is hoping KP and Wily don't get hurt, and looking toward the draft.

This is how almost every knick season thread has ended for the last 15 years.

Step one: Fans hold unrealistic expectation about how the season will go.

Step two: Fans think there is a turnaround right around the corner

Step three: Fans wonder if there's gonna be a big trade

Step four: fans come to grips with the fact that the knicks are trash, fight with each other

Step five: knicks win a game or two down the stretch that don't matter, and fukk up the draft pick

Alternate step five: Knicks don't have a draft pick


Stop whining. The season ended in November. Now we just wanna see our team infused with new young talent. So there are reasons to be excited for NEXT year.

my guy....we're not a good team...there isnt much to say.
the young players didnt particularly play well outside of spurts...derrick rose hit a bunch of jumpers...but he's not apart of the future so
when the knicks are winning there are an inordinate amount of positive talks on this forum...i remember in our 54 win season...we went to okc and beat them for our 13th win in a row
i remember we beat the spurs after being down 14 in the 4th with 6 minutes left
you werent here for that...so all you see is negatives...cause we suck
if there's winning i can be down with positive talks....but this right here

At this point in the season, it's about tanking and evaluating the young guys. Ron Baker's showing some skills that could translate to a useful depth piece. With Randle the jury's out but his comfort in the system is nice to see and maybe he can be serviceable too. Willy and KP are both showing their strengths and weaknesses, but they're fun to watch develop. Kuz is intirguing. But beyond that, THIS season is over. The playoffs are out of reach and the draft lottery isn't far out, so as fans we oughtta start thinking about the offseason. Are Melo, Lee, KOQ even really worth hanging on to with the team clearly in rebuilding mode? What options to move those guys do we have and what targets should we prioritize both in the draft and free agency? So basically this is the Knicks pre-offseason thread at this point

i think we should try to move lee and koq. while i like kyle, hes gonna get a big contract after next season and its not worth giving out while we rebuild. i think every team would like lee, so if we could fetch a first with those 2, id take it. shyt, or some young potential players as well. it all works for me.

melo goes without saying, but aint much we can do, its all on him.

I noticed something particular in the Bucks game Q4: The back screen they keep running for Greek Freak that got KP off of him repeatedly.

Why don't the Knicks run something similar to get our guys actually going towards the basket? KP is 7'3 and fairly mobile, the worst that could happen would be getting fouled. KP is at his best when he's in motion.
