Giannis is a superstar. 
"he scores most his points in transition"
a 22 year old giving you his numbers is not that good?
didnt they say all lebron could do is score in transition....
but somehow he'd finish every game with 27 points 7 assists and 7 boards...you know the stats giannis is putting up right now...at age 22.
LeBrawn has developed somewhat of a jumpshot. Excuse me if I don't like every young player that the Coli likes to slurp over. And honestly, their aren't many players under 23 that I'm really rocking with with the exception of AD and maybe Towns & Beal.
Is that supposed to be a bad thing??? You love them long contested mid ranged twos, don't you???
shyt makes no sense, and ontop of that - Giannis scores 6.5ppg in transition, Bron 7.1ppg, KD 6.6ppg, Westbrook 6.5ppg, Curry 6.3ppg

did bron have a jumper at 22? ok.
the fact he does what he's doing without a great jumper is enough.
melo has a better jumpshot than giannis...does that mean you'd take him over giannis. not 22 year old melo....32 year old melo.
there's more to the game than a jumper.....especially when you do everything else at a high level.
he rebounds at a high level
he has handle and vision
he attacks the rim at a high level
all of this while being basically a 7 feet tall and athletic as hell.
i mean the nikka did just do a turn around step back on us to beat us at the buzzer ...his jumper was good enough for that
you dont have to like him...but you have to objectively see his game and talent as elite.

you'd be in the same spot cause your roster is pretty shytty....as shytty as ours...except you actually have youth on your side
my nikka...they aint call it...he still had to make the shot and he did. a highly contested shot at the buzzer...off a stepback from 16 feet.he averages 23 points without an elite scoring skillset...which can be developed.
there are very few other players you would take over him if starting a franchise

The Knicks can realistically catch the Kings and Pelicans...maybe the Sixers too. But they really need to tread lightly and rest Melo when the opportunity is presented. Being in a top 5 position would be nice and I think it's attainable as a goal. I just wanna watch the young cats cook.
