Giannis is a number 1 based on the fact he's 22, plays defense and is a playmaker.

I don't like Harden's lack of defense, but his offense is undeniable because he can actually pass.

Davis made the playoffs more recently than Melo.


All of these guys do more than just 1 thing, all Melo does is score, nothing else at a high level. If you offered Melo for any of these guys right now their teams would hang up the phone laughing, and Melo makes any of their teams WORSE in their place.

The fact of the matter is I've been right about him, there's nothing you can bring up that will change the fact building around him was wrong.

Courtney Lee was the starting 2 on a playoff team last year.

Noah and Rose were the starting PG and C when the Bulls made the playoffs in 2015 and Rose was the starting PG when they were only 2 games out of the playoffs last year.

Porzingis is a 18/7 big man whose also one of the best rim protectors in the league.

fukk outta here acting like Melo has no help. It's not a championship cast by any means but it's good enough to not be fighting with Philly and Orlando for a lottery pick.

Kind of random, but this video makes me wonder how different Melo's career would turn out if he came into the league now, and some team groomed him to be a stretch 4 like the Bucks were doing with Jabari Parker. It's really a shame Melo only spent two years as a stretch 4, considering those were his best years by a decent margin.
