Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I'm asking you breh who is the best player MELO has played with as a Knick? In the last 4 years, who's the best player?

Amare before his knees gave out, but Melo wasn't interested in playing the PnR with him, much the same way he has no interest in doing it with Kristaps.

:laff: :laff: :laff: :laff:

Yo I can't with you. This made me laugh.

Amare was healthy for maybe half a season with MELO. That tells me all I need to know

Hobbled Amare was the best player he played with. And you over here making excuses for top 5 players in their primes .

You got it.

The bolded haven't won shyt to be considered number 1's.

KD has been to the finals :dead: you gotta be kidding me.
Giannis is 22 and arguably the best building block under 23 in the league.
AD is 23 and arguably the best building block under 25 in the league.
Harden is going to win MVP, and actually has been to the WCF in the last decade.....

Again, how is it you knock players for one thing, then turn a blind eye to Melo not even making the playoffs in the last 4 years?

@Malta

Carrying the load

41 points as a rookie. Double digits in 71 of the 75 games that year.

Took them to the playoffs

Looking better then, than some of today's "prime" superstars.

Did this in the West.

Are you still looking for the answer to who's the best player MELO played with as a Knick?

Bruh, this shyt is so old it's not even in 1080p, get this shyt all the way outta here :camby:

Bush was in office when this shyt happened, you really gotta go back that far.

Nailed it, this PG is an elite defender is such bullshyt when he gets lit up by every good offensive player. Melo's been lighting his a$$ up for years while his team beating him
What the media says is what goes. It's the truth. That's what happens when you don't watch games and you just read numbers all day. Most people just turn on the tv and get their fix. Which is why everyone has the same exact opinions about everything.

The league is largely watered down. And these 'amazing' defensive stats are largely against players who don't matter. Which is why the stats never seem to matter when going up against real players.

I've watched " A washed up, outta prime, no bungies" Carmelo dog and abuse a top 10 player multiple times. But what do I know?

Half the season they played together they were playing good. They were lighting up boston in the playoffs before amare went down and the refs cheated us in game 2. And then amare was never the same

Nah the point is, there's a difference between generational talents who mold what the future will be, and fringe superstars y'all tryda force to be better than real superstars. That's my only point.

I never felt he was a real superstar, he reminded me of Glen Robinson on steroids, and I was never a big fan of Big Dog :yeshrug:

Here's my thing, if you can only do 1 thing, you're not a franchise player.

That's not the system that they run. Or are you blaming MELO for Coaching decisions too.

Did the media tell you that MELO sapped the life out of him? Did U go on basketball reference and read some numbers? Or did you watch games, every Knicks game that they played together, like me? :jbhmm:

That is NYC through and through though. The Nets fell for the same trap as well. The Russian told whoever was making those moves to get competitive immediately no matter the cost and it is going to cost that franchise a decade.

Dolan is incompetent, but I have always looked at the situation as a no-win for him. He doesn't try to sign Amar'e that off-season? They would have eaten him alive in the media at the time. Summer of all those free agents and the knicks not get one name? That would have been devastating to him and the knicks organization as a whole. In fact, I still hold till this very day that if Amar'e did not sign with the Knicks it would have been a very tough sell to get Melo over here.

Amar'e was a bad individual signing and I think everyone with basketbal sense pretty much knew that at the time, but it was a necessary evil to try to get someone over here to pair up with him. In that regard it "worked", it got a future hall of famer to commit to the knicks before Amar'e knees shattered. It got the fans to STFU for a little while, got an unusually hot season from J.R. Smith and got the knicks to the second round. It has been all downhill from there.

We have talked about this before, the biggest mistake was resigning Melo. Also, I try not to bring up old wounds, but who was right at the end of the day? Melo/Marbury or D'Antoni? It is easy to look in hindsight, but I didn't want D'Antoni out of here. I wanted him to stay on the knicks because I knew with the state of this franchise? He was easily the best pick to hold onto while the league was shifting...if ANYONE in the NBA can adapt on offense it is HIM. The guy turned Jeremy Lin into a decent NBA player for the short stint here, handed over PG duties to James Harden and the guy is likely going to win MVP this year as a result. Yes, Harden almost won MVP a few years ago, but NOBODY saw this shyt coming with him like THIS. James Harden? A PG and have that many turnovers? Only D'Antoni can pull shyt like that off. He turned Steve Nash into a Hall of Famer.

Biggest mistakes Knicks made the last 5 years was not using that amnesty on Amare & not hiring one of Tonya Harding's goons for TH Jr the last week of the 2015 season

D'Antoni wanted to run that system, Melo not about that life though, the ball dies when it gets in his hand. You know you gonna see some jab steps, pump fakes and wasting clock when Melo gets the rock.

Are we really gonna act like players don't make decisions on the floor that go against what the coach wants? I watched the games, and everyone back then was saying I was hating, but where them PnR with Kristaps? Where they at Code? Huh, where's the PnR at String?
