Rose will walk this season and probably have a great season next year in a different location.

Phil is a waste like I said.

All those mind games for nothing. Not a pick not an upgrade at any position. Nada.

Alienate players and then make no moves at the trade deadline brehs.

Guy doesn't even know what the fukk he's doing.

No trade is better than a bad trade I suppose, but Phil is just so disappointingly underwhelming. Steve Mills too since he's supposed to be the one negotiating the deals.
I'm not letting him off that easy. He's done a bad enough job being in charge on the basketball side. But then to put that cloud of negativity around the franchise that makes players not want to play here, and then on top of that make no moves for the franchise? Why would anyone want to come here as long as he's in charge?

What message does it send to talk down on your roster while they're winning and then on top of that cosign articles bashing your franchise player who has Been class personified despite your incompetence as the head of the org.?

fukk that guy.

It was a no lose situation, unless we did a Kings type of thing. We ended up not getting fleeced. That's a positive.

Although we don't flip Rose for a pick or young asset, we have a contract coming off the books to the tune of $20m, it appears. I understand what @Malta has been saying about not getting hopes up for a great star signing. At this point, I don't ever see that happening w/ Phil here BUT...

I imagine the $20 mill going to young, solid role players.

The way we are currently constructed and knowing that Rose will ramp up playing for his contract, I expect much of the same we've seen. I also expect Melo to be gone in the offseason - which is what most GMs apparently believed will be the true moment of transition for the Melo era.

We can now look forward to the end of this season and the impending draft.

I expect my long term hope would be for us to have a serviceable draft position that gives us something that helps KP tremendously. My short term Knicks fan love will still hope, in a game that's tied with 4 seconds left, that we win that particular game because it feels good to see that shot fall. So sorry in advance.

Talk all that shyt to not do shyt. Set that poison when the team was winning. Attacked Melo's character. Just to not do anything
Yea, the NOah contract was bad...

But the bolded may actually turn out to be the most damaging part of his tenure here. Breh literally facilitated the already toxic environment that turned into Oak being arrested, Lebron HATING everything about the organization, current players indicating their disgust, and no one talking about his 11 rings anymore except as an ironic punchline...not to mention ironically turning Melo into a victim as opposed to his goal of turning him into the villain.

Considering Dolan's personality... he truely hired the right man. :wow:
