Because he is Euro i started to realize this with Knicks fans on this board and realgm if you are Euro some how some way you are golden Rubio sucks and hasn't done anything with Minnesota but be injured and not be able to shoot and Knicks fans want to bring him here and have him and Noah on the same floor at the same time like WTF let Rose go and just see what happens

Sasha Vujacic is Euro and we despise him. :russ:

Id like to see the Knicks try and nab some first rounders, but i dont think anybody on the roster will be able to get one back. Teams know whats up now that the new cba is in place; free agents wont switch teams too often anymore, so keep your picks. Cheap, controllable talent is more valuable than ever nowadays.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
If Rubio was so good, Minnesota would keep him.

We should be done taking on others undesirable trash.

@tremonthustler1 and @Malta will have unlimited (additional) opportunities to flame this thread, and with good reason, if this happens. I see why they disconnected from the franchise.

Rubio isn't that good, but he's better than this incarnation of Rose that has tunnel vision. You can't have a PG like Rose with Melo on the same team, it just doesn't work.

I think yall are too caught up with the PPG, Rose right now is a SG masquerading as a PG, that would be fine if he weren't shooting 24% from three, or the 4.5apg to 2.5 turnovers per game but he's got the second highest usage rate on the Knicks. I think you all need to look closely at his numbers, and then compare them to other players, for instance his usage rate is higher than Mike Conleys, Chris Paul, Jrue Holiday, Kyle Lowry, yet his numbers are terrible in comparison. To put it in perspective, his rate of production vs his usage rate is on par with first and second year PGs who are between 19-21.

I hate game manager PGs like Rubio, but the Knicks offense is so stagnant and should be better than it is, nevermind the fact getting Rubio insulates you from having to resign Rose which would be the biggest mistake this summer. And as shytty as I think Rubio's game is, he actually does play defense. The Wolves want to move on from him because they have a PG they feel will be starting soon, the Knicks do not have a PG that is a long term solution, or even a 1-2 year solution on their team, Rubio can be that bridge and also would be a good backup if you do draft one.

I like watching Rubio because I like watching great passers which there aren't many left of but I admit in today's NBA having a pg who can't shoot is a death sentence

So while I don't think he fits well as a starter in today's NBA I actually think we'd win a few more games with him because he'd actually get other guys involved.

I want to keep Rose and let him expire for that reason

I'm Guessing They Already Figured Out They Don't Want To Resign Him And Getting Anything For Him At This Point Is A Bonus. He's The Only Trade Bait The Knicks Have (Outside Melo & KP)

doesn't help that he's been pretty vocal about getting a max deal going back to the :deadrose: days.

Is getting something now for him better than having the salary come off the books in the summer?
