My NYC Black Folk......Gentrification

From what I'm seeing, NYC is just going to be super low income and luxury. Anyone in the middle about to commute in from outside the city.

Another issue is that the few decent buildings for working/middle class people get ruined by a few tenants.

Quite a few bronx spots are co-ops that are in the MIDDLE of the hood...

Tremont/concourse/Webster/Jerome will Def get interesting over time..

They got tour busses in the bronx EVERY weekend..

I know that there are different tour themes (packages) that roll through the Bronx. One focuses on movie locations, Historical and one that just rolls through the hood and they list off all the crime/gang issues. People get off take pics and get back on the bus. Bus picks up/ drop off at hotels in Midtown. I only know this cuz a friend used to work at a couple hotels in midtown.

and thats how it was in Harlem in the 00s above 127th before they arrived

they would have tour busses rolling up to the old Savoy Ballroom or Strivers Row and along St Nicholas Ave on sunday morning cruises
