This is really good for tenants. In my case too little to late but going forward it’s great. I’m moving to Greenpoint in two weeks and I hope I don’t get priced out.

there's some great stuff from what I've read, it's great they made them permenant

one things that's bad is that they're not going to recover illegally deregulated apartments in this bill which I feel has to be done

I also feel they missed the mark by making it harder to convert buildings to co-ops and condos

the apartment I live in was illegally deregulated using MCI's I believe but I feel really shaky about fighting it


the real etate people I follow on twitter are big mad(mostly developers) but I think it's blown out of proportion, I think they believed they were unstoppable which for the most part they have been


I'm a small developer and do projects outside of the city so this really has no bearing on my life

rent seems to have plateaued a few years ago so you should be fine

I had a girlfriend in Greenpoint and Wburg it's really nice food and bar wise but it is so white
