Bronx, NYC
I never got the allure of NJ or Harlem

Hasn't the ship sailed in the Bronx unless you're talking co-ops?

NYC rents declined overall in 2017, but the Bronx is skyrocketing: report

I never got the allure of Jersey, I always half-joked and said "If I move to Jersey that means something went wrong". I'd rather bounce from the tri-state area than move to NJ. Harlem has the allure, amenities, nightspots, and the convenience if you from uptown but don't wanna go too far away. Nah I don't think the ship has sailed just yet.

If Buppies were smart they would come to the BX and buy instead of going to NJ or struggle to pay rent in Harlem, but them folks look down on the BX:yeshrug:so it is what it is.

NJ has backyards and gardens. And youth soccer for the kids. Plus the train is right there for most of the state.

Except you're very car dependent if you're not living in JC/Hoboken, property taxes are outrageous despite having more land for your home. And the school system quality can vary from town to town. Not worth it.

I would say it's cheaper to live in Philly than most of Jersey with all of the benefits of convenience and nightspots.

True but philly closes up early and it's dangerous lol. PA is nice but that ~2 hour commute? I mean there is LI but that place is hit and miss. CT is really expensive except the new haven area.
