Do you know how much it cost for a lawyer? Be for real. Not saying that there isn't a way around it but it's not as easy as you are saying. Sometimes that shyt takes years to reach court.

During the summer the city actually passed Right to Counsel. Meaning over the next 5 years any tenants making under 50k will be provided a free attorney in housing court. It's slowly being implemented across the boroughs but some zip codes are covered
