Some can't, but many just won't.Why is this in the root?
They won't or can't?
I kinda think the average rent price would be lower if there were more young people looking to rent. That just mean that the cost of living is too high. Europe has the same problem, but the economy isn't improving and we have too many people.
Wow that's fukking lame, how are you sure it was them though? And what's it like living in co-op city?My white neighbors that recently moved a couple doors down from me just called the police on me for smoking weed in my staircase I've been smoking loud in this case on the regular since 09 and none of my neighbors ever had an issue , they just moved here and tryna maneuver like they the tenant foh
My neighborhood co-op city is predominately black though at 60% , hispanics at 27% and only 8% whites so I doubt they boutta takeover anytime soon

Co Op City Section 5 , BronxWhere do you live?
Cops told me who and just gave me a warning surprisingly usually they wouldnt hesitate to bag me and its basically a luxurious projects because it isn't under NYCHA but it doesn't feel that significantly different from when I lived in Secor projects even though the violence aint frequent as other areas in the BX shyt does tend to get crazy .Wow that's fukking lame, how are you sure it was them though? That's the ones who got caughtIt's wild NYC had all these useless Drug Dealers that are seen as legends but used their bread to trick off instead of buying up land and businesses like other ethnic groups crime organizations do.
Not if you do trustful businessYeah but then the govt can say they brought the money with dirty funds and use that eminent domain/ civil forefeiture bullshyt... they'll take it from them anyways...
Well yeah greed is definitely a big factor, but of course a landlord is going to want to make as much money as he/she legally canRent is only increasing due to deregulation and greed. With these rich immigrants looking for a place to live, these landlords be on that shyt.
The renting bubble is going to burst and it's gonna be ugly.
I saw a video of a huge high school brawl in Co-op city not too long ago, is shyt like that common?Cops told me who and just gave me a warning surprisingly usually they wouldnt hesitate to bag me and its basically a luxurious projects because it isn't under NYCHA but it doesn't feel that significantly different from when I lived in Secor projects even though the violence aint frequent as other areas in the BX shyt does tend to get crazy .
In Truman , yeah that was a regular occurrence when I attended because damn near everyone uptown (Co-op , secor , edenwald , gun hill etc) be in there and you have wild conflict with the hoods like secor not fukkin with edenwald , section 3&4 not messing with edenwald & the valley , section 5 beefing with all the other sections in co-op so it was a one big cesspool for fukkery to occur . I used to get jumped or initiated disputes on the regular because I was from section 5 alot of people got safety transfers because they couldn't handle the pressure .Well yeah greed is definitely a big factor, but of course a landlord is going to want to make as much money as he/she legally can

And does the area feel desolate if that makes sense? I know there's a lot of people there but it seems isolated from the rest of The Bronx.

Wrong they getting that mid town office workers, bankers and professionals who work long hours but need to be close to the city. There are no hipsters whatsoever involved in that area. I take the 7 train sometimes going home , that all you see , young professional types and people in their 30's doing long hours. There are no hip beer gardens or bars or decent places to eat there yet.Yep. area used to be dirt poor as shyt... now they trying to get all that hipster money...
