What's the issue? Tyranitar isn't a Ground type

Naw, it's a Rock type which is immune to all electric attacks. Seeing how Ash's Pikachu is at least level 200 by now it can probably beat a rock type.

Nah, Rock types aren't immune to Electric attacks at all, Ground types are. It might seem like it's Rock types that are immune because many Rock types have Ground as a secondary type
Tyranitar can and does take damage from Electric attacks.

Why does this anime won't let Ash go with his aces? I'm pretty sure every other trainer uses their Aces in leagues.
From what I've read..Ash should be using :
Pikachu
Charizard
Greninja
Snorlax
Sceptile
Infernape
The first two flying Pokemon he used were trash
pokemon from like 5 series agothis nikka not even close to catching them all
