Update

Yea i think I'm in the flu stage. Been feeling like shyt all day and now I'm getting chills. Fever probably up next. I just hope this shyt goes away by Monday when I go back to work. I also haven't cropped in like 3 or 4 days :merchant: but I read it's all normal.

Food wise I been doing great. Haven't gone past 2500 calories at all this week. I think 30 lbs by xmas is very doable right now.

From what I'm reading it's possible with my activity level. I'm very overweight too. I was 285 before I started this weekend before last and I'm at 276 today. Another 21 seems doable.

I think I'm about to hit that keto flu. I been feeling like shyt all day today :shaq2:

Sidenote, I copped some grass-fed butter and cooked a chuck steak in it last night. :banderas: the tastiest steak I ever ate. All i added was salt n pepper and a little habanero tobasco sauce. Amazing.
Grassfed butter is the shyt, so much flavor.
I forgot to tell you about the chills from keto. You'll stay a little colder than normal, some folks use the chills to test and see if they have fallen out of ketosis or not.

I thought I was gonna die last night. Chills, fever, diarrhea and nausea. But i feel alot better today besides the headaches. But that was :whew:. I ordered some ketostix to test myself this weekend.

after a long weekend of being sick, im back at work today. still on my shyt. i feel slightly more energetic, but that could just be because i took yesterday off and slept like 11 hours.

i tested positive for ketones on saturday night. bought a box of ketostix. plus my piss smells bad as fukk and i got the metallic taste going, so im sure im in ketosis.

still having trouble keeping my fat intake as high as recommended, but i found a bag of mixed nuts that only comes with 3g of net carbs per serving with 15g of fat.

weight - still 276-277 range as of this morning. 9 lbs down so far.

Try Spareribs if you need more fat and protein

i like the spare ribs, but im afraid of going too high on the protein since they say it could knock me out of ketosis. i try to eat alot of nuts and cheese and avocado.

The ribs I usually pick up in Food Lion only has around 19 grams of protein :yeshrug: and around 13 grams of fat.

I'm all for whatever gets you there but this seems like a lot of work when at your weight, the gains would be easy with simple modifications.

i ate some ribs last sunday and according to myfitnesspal that meal was like 67 g of protein. put me just on the limit for the day which is 156

I'm all for whatever gets you there but this seems like a lot of work when at your weight, the gains would be easy with simple modifications.

i hear u but i feel like i needed something different. i like the fact that i have been under 2500 calories for 10 days straight now because this diet keeps me satisfied. when i was eating carbs i was always hungry and if i didnt eat i would feel weak. i have yet to feel unsatisfied or weak on this. ima ride it out and see where it takes me.

Indeed

Just keep in mind it's not a long term solution. I would think about where you go once this runs it's course or you have to cycle off.
