It’s her debut mixtape.
Displaying this versatility so early in her career is very impressive.
Excited to see where she goes from here she’s certainly got the world watching. There’s plenty of time for her to find her true “voice”.
Could easily see her becoming a megastar
what makes her an industry plant?

It's not her debut and she is not a new artist. She was a generic rnb singer with a large major label backed and pushed single a few years back called "what it is". The Label rebranded her and here we are.

If anything, I think people will find her annoying dependent on if she continues with the same style that got her her fame :yeshrug:

OP, just enjoy the music. She’s a rapper that “gets it” the “it” being the art form of hip hop and the ability to create full length albums.

nikkas still don’t realize how rare that is when we have literal plant rappers that come in the game off a hit, milk it for all they can get money wise and disappear as labels recycle a new plant. You not playing NONE of the “projects” these nikkas dropped over the years. But she dropped something that will stand the test of time and she just getting started.

She really made a cohesive, versatile mixtape that really just displayed all her styles. She can go in several different lanes with her music because she’s that talented. I know she’s been getting a lot of “hype” right now but it’s truly deserved. You can see her hunger and desire to be at the top of her craft. Here’s a YouTube videos before the fame :

This her original YouTube that she still uses as an artist. Those early videos had less than 2K views until last summer. Far from a plant like nikkas claiming

i feel what you mean about gettin stuck in a box.

But to me, she's like a candy bag of assorted flavors, and i only may like one of those 7 flavors, so i end up not liking the candy itself if i have to buy a whole bag of 6 other flavors that are kinda meh to me.
But it's not like that though. You can just listen to the ones you like.

her music still is not for me man. I cannot enjoy it, except maybe the beat on NISSAN.

That moment when you can’t say “they all rap about the same shyt” so you have to get creative to hate:mjlit:
She has definitely made it :russ:
Like there’s literally worse rappers than her that people Stan. It’s not hard for Doechii to standout in this current game. There’s a lot of female rappers now but a lot of them aren’t good. Doechii is.

Pretty sure that was the whole point of the mixtape iirc. The album is supposed to have a more cohesive sound.

I liked her album and wish her all the success.
But you are right. I heard missy, kim, and nikki all over the album.

Its like
Kendrick sometimes. Too many voices and cadences. To many bells and whistles.

I guess the avg consumer likes it but it dilutes the content.

But her sound hasnt been found for sure. But its also early in her career
