How they do that?

How they do that?
She studied English, then doubled down with a Master's. He studied a pure science and didn't go all the way to a PhD. Didn't even pick a more applicable science like computer science.
This has less to do with education and more to do with their poor choices in what to study. If your goal is employment opportunities then engineering, computer science, medicine, accounting and nursing are right there.
Talmbout English and biology, then doubling down with useless Master's degrees.
English and biology degrees
I think part of the problem to is that people don't know their own limits. Not everybody has the smarts to be a doctor, dentist, STEM, or whatever else. And a lot of times they lack the people in their lives to tell them they need to take their ass to learn a trade instead of racking up all that debt. I have a friend now with an English degree that's working as a minimum wage line cook. Dumb as hell but her family kept pushing her to get her college degree now she's stuck with all that debt but can't get a job because nobody will hire her after talking with her.
I was lucky to leave college with only 20K in debt and that was strictly because I had a kid and used the loan money to give to my baby's momma so I didn't have to work full time. I let a bunch of full ride offers expire and luckily had a dope guidance counselor that put me on to a bunch of scholarship opportunities. He had read my essay in the application process for being an SAT scholar and just had me use that for the different scholarships.
Then dont go to college, it will be just a waste of time and money if you can't get into either of those fields .
So why can’t the girl do a trade now while she works her job? Or if the trade pays just do the apprenticeship?
If she’s dumb as hell, how would she do good in a trade? Lol trades aren’t really easy I heard there’s a lot of learning with trades.
I have zero sympathy for them. My wife and I have about $100k in school debt combined. I went to law school and ended up not practicing or taking the bar and still parlayed that into making $110k a year. Wife got a masters in social work and makes 80k. Them getting education or the cost of education isn’t the issue. Also, we waited until we were financially set before having kids. This shyt isn’t rocket science.
It's common sense.
A relative of mine got her Masters in counseling and was a social worker in DC making 65k with over 100k in debt. 4 years in her profession she said fukk this, switched to IT, got certified in a business intelligence software and 3 years in is making 120K.
It still ain't too late for people to make money in today's tech world without college degrees.
New technology every single year and companies will be looking for an 'expert' to help them integrate it to their system. You don't even have to be an expert to get hired.
If you are not going to med school, you have to have a solid plan to spin that bio degree. Have to pair it with some other skills from jump. But from what I skimmed, dude was trying to go to dental school shortly after, but couldn't pass the test. But The Coli told me STEM STEM STEM.
Yeah that’s my main goal now, just getting this degree because I’m almost done and would make no sense to drop out.
I wish I took the cert route right after high school, would have been glad doin helpdesk for like 3-4 years as a young nikka then using that experience to get more carts and jobs.
fukk!!
The saying needs to be updated to Technology , Engineering, and Medicine. There are limited jobs opportunities for just a Bachelor's degree in Biology , Chemistry, Physics, etcBut The Coli told me STEM STEM STEM.
Having a degree helps if you want management position. You can always get certified in tech afterwards. Good luck breh. So much money in tech, it's one big hustle.
A Math degree is great too. You can finesse that into Comp Sci jobs or finance or etc.The saying needs to be updated to Technology , Engineering, and Medicine. There are limited jobs opportunities for just a Bachelor's degree in Biology , Chemistry, Physics, etc
