DBZ you got episodes upon episodes of dudes just screaming while powering up. I don't get the appeal of that. When i was a teenager it was funny and hilarious but now, too much time waste.
My Hero Academia won't enter the GOAT tier of Shonen anime until it has better fights

I literally only brought you into this to let another poster know about the video you posted. I didn't say that you said anything was trash, I said kids can tell when something is trash. Watch the video you posted again. He says he knows he's shytting on these fights, but he loves them. I'm not unaware of the overall point of the video, I just think it's rambling. What MHA lacks in fight choreography, they make up in strategy and spectacle. I'll be the first to tell anyone that the fights aren't seeing HxH, but what shounen are? My point has been that this is pointless nitpicking for a show that is nowhere near done nor reached it's max. If casual watchers of the genre want to call it GOAT, who cares? Feel free to find me stanning this show in any shape way or form, btw. I like it; it's nowhere near cracking my top 50 animes

You can have strategy spectacle and entertaining choreography. The earlier fights in Naruto did this before all the ridiculousness in power scaling
MHA is halfway through it's 3rd season. It's more than a fair critique at this point. It can improve on that and based on what other posters have said it will, but right now I'm sticking with my points.

Emotion was a huge part of the early Naruto fights, doe. I'm holding off on reading the MHA manga for now but there are logical reasons for how the fights go down in their universe. The majority of the characters are students still learning how to be heroes. They're not even legally allowed to fight crime yet. One For All has only been displayed through punches, word to One Punch Man). The show hasn't even really established a level of martial arts comparable to Attack on Titan. Naruto is a show about ninjas. DBZ is about martial arts. MHA is nikkas with superpowers.You can have strategy spectacle and entertaining choreography. It's like clockwork, whenever an anime become mainstream, you get two extremes. Either people worship it and call it GOAT, even though it's still early in the anime or you have people just hate on it just because it's too popular. Same thing happen with One Punch Man and now it's MHA. It's too early to call it GOAT cause the anime can call off hard (Bleach 
) but to say that there hasn't been any great fights or moments yet, hey, the anime isn't for you

I meant manga . I don’t read the manga I just read a wiki and it seemed like he already utilized a different fighting style than the show that’s all. I love it , show got me hooked in a way Naruto never did until like the fight vs the dog guy . I really like DekuWe haven't even gotten that far in the season yet...Don't spoil things fam...
Deku is becoming a beast in the manga I'm really halfway through the story where
his suit gets the second upgrade...
His adaptation skills and new fighting style is nice...EDITED to add: Izuku could be nicer with the hands if he went to an actual martial arts teacher so he would work on his new fighting style. as is now it's more like freestyle kind of kickboxing. but he needs an leg up on hand to hand combat.

And OP is right it definitely needs a "classic" fight from at least Deku like a Yusuke vs Toguro or a Goku vs Frieza to be considered a top tier shonen

Glad MHA has gotten as popular as it has 
. It’s one of the better Jump series they’ve serialized over the past 3 to 4 years. The latest arc in the manga is really good.
The series definitely isn’t up there with the GOATs yet. That’s crazy talk. It has the potential to be up there though.

Think of Manga like hunter x hunter , fullmetal alchemist and JOJO Bizarre Adventure where alot the fights invole comeing up with smart and on the fly strategy to counter the villains power. The characters in My Hero Academia are being train to become career superhero so their not going to be too many fight were large part of the environment they are fighting in get destroy.
