ISPs aren't capping shyt. It's just a cheap wifi chip in the PS4. Was having the same issue with my laptop (Intel Centrino wireless chip), bought a $9 wireless AC adapter and have been flying ever since.

Not just Wifi it's wired as well. The ethernet port and WiFi is ass. Cheap design by them.

100Base-T ethernet has been around since the mid 90's. There's no such thing as "cheap ethernet port" because all ethernet ports are cheap because they're all the same.

PS4 and Vita speeds have been fine, Vita better than PS4. My PS3 is fukking horrible. i don't know if it is because I have an OG 60GB PS3 but that shyt is pitiful.

The OG PS3 has wireless G in that shyt.

Because the 360 was my console of choice last gen, my PS3 might be 9 years old just about, but its real age is far less than that. No blu-ray movies on it so not a lot of fukking with the original diodes in there, a lot of digital purchases, put 660GB HDD in there. That bytch is bionic, lol.

The fluctuation of download speeds is what pisses me off the most. One second I'm downloading at 6-7mbps...and then 10 seconds later I'm at 400kbps and it stays like that until I pause the download and restart it.

I've done this so many times, it's unreal
