I really want to go but it is about 3 hours away and my girlfriend cannot go because she already took off for my bday and the wedding is like 2 weeks after that. :to: :sadcam:

The wedding will be very religious and no alcohol. :damn: i repeat no alcohol. :damn: :damn: :damn:

but he is my homeboy, man. i left that job about 2 years ago and we still keep in touch. :ehh:

i got to go, but no date/no booze will make it painful. :damn::damn::damn:

it starts at 1 p.m. so maybe i can go and just dip out early :lupe:

man, I had the EXACT same experience about a month ago. except it wasn't no religous ceremony. we got to the spot and thought we were gonna get shyt faced cuz they were serving wine before all the festivities. well once we get seated, I notice there is NO bar. sure there's a cash bar, but I only brought like $20 in ones to tip the bartender off what I assumed would be an open bar :snoop:

I was PISSED to say the least. the food was good, but we ended up bouncing early. I even rented a hotel room out there cuz I figured we wouldn't be able to drive home due to them having that open bar. what a waste.
