That’s dope bro!!!
I got into boxing in January trying to regain my youth, lose some weight and address some health concerns I had from being dormant. I like it. Saw people sparring and I wanted that shyt, I already liked the sport, it was time to dive in. So I started sparring. Then I found out there's a Master's Division for fighters over 35, and dove in head first. I was hitting the gym 6 times a week, 2 hours at at time. I lost 50lbs and 6 inches in the waist. Which is leading up to my first fight this weekend. I've been working my ass off, so I'm hoping for a good showing. If you're in the Chicagoland area, come fukk with me. You might see me get beat up, you might see me beat some ass.

Don't mind the dirty ass mirror.

Masters is it’s own thing. Im still young enough to fight elite or open. Masters has it’s own matching setup. We have to be within 10 years of age and I think it has to be within 5 fights but I could be wrong. The dude Im fighting has 2 or 3 fights. I spar 3-4 times a week, so Im confident either way.

Ok cool...
2 or 3 ain't bad...that's not too many

But it's a big difference between sparring in ur own gym, against guys u know..
And fighting a guy you don't know, who already got actual fights under his belt...

Anyway... happy to see a guy put in the work and now about to see the results of that work...
Post the fight on here bro

All good .... very good...

Since it's his 1st fight too... Be prepared for him to come out with nervous energy.
Like super aggressive.... stay patient.
And be prepared for him to come out shell shocked... go at him.

All that sparring should have u comfortable and polished..

Cant wait to see the fight...
Win or lose... leave it all out there..
:salute:

Is yo heart pumping
Not really to be honest. Im confident in my training. I been working my ass off all year for this moment. I ain't scared to lose, I'm scared to get out there and not perform like I should. I've been shadow boxing all day working on footwork and combos. Imma try to fold buddy in half. I'm also getting a lot of supportive/reassuring calls and texts. About 35 people showing up, or at least bought tickets already. and on top of it all, my son and wife are gonna be there. My motivation to perform is through the roof.
