I'm curious why you chose Bret as the MVP for 1996? After losing the title to Shawn at WrestleMania he sat home for the next 7 months and didn't wrestle again until the Survivor Series in November. I don't know how someone could be off TV for most of the year and still be the MVP.

Lol@Shawn being MVP over Razor...and Bret Hart was a joke in 1991...Mr. Perfect was way more credible

Perfect only had one good match in '91... against the guy you said was a joke... rest of the time, he was mostly beating jobbers and was actually injured for a better part of the year. '91 was the beginning of his injury issues that held his career back from becoming greater.

he had the feud with bulldog. you kinda had to go to the house shows to get the full feel for dudes like mr perfect.
carried boss man t one of the best matches at mania.
was i-c champ for 8 months.

you could also give '91 to warrior, hogan or the legion of doom. it was pretty wide-open.

i dont see how bret is getting picked over any of them.
