I was wondering, who would you have as the MVP of each year from 1985 to now?

I stopped watching WWE consistently after 2010 so from 2011 until 2020 I won't have a choice. Here are my pics below:

- Hulk Hogan. Hulkamania was running wild on Wrestlemania.

- Hulk Hogan. Was helping transcend the WWF brand to crazy heights. Was highly charismatic and cut good promos. Helped elevate a lot of the roster by giving the heels credibility. Had great feuds with Piper and Mr.Wonderful as well as the Million Dollar Man on occasion.

- Randy Savage. Made the IC belt feel important, was starting to elevate his status in the federation, and still no one had the pairing of workrate and charisma like Macho King. Had a blood feud with Ricky that ended up being one of the greatest matches of all time. Also managed to turn a successful babyface later that year in a feud with Honky.

- Randy Savage. Was the main guy (ok, #2 to Hogan). Won the championship at the Rumble in an ok series of matches. Didn't have any legendary moments, but he was still the best total package the WWE had.

- Randy Savage. Made a very intense heel turn. Really helped carry over the theme of jealousy with his feud with Hogan. Helped carry Hulk to one of his better matches.

- Randy Savage. One of the best promo and best workers at the time, as well as a certified draw that connected with the crowd. Savage had an ok feud with Dusty and had a match or 2 with Hogan, but his biggest moment was when he fought Ultimate Warrior at Wrestlemania. It's there that we saw Randy Savages redemption and a rare double turn when he came out the match a face when he was united with Miss Elizabeth.

- Bret Hart. Because everything else in the WWF was retarded at the time. I suppose Slaughter and Savage were good to. Anyway, Hart made the IC belt prestigious and was the premier worker in the fed. Had a classic with Curt Henning.

- Ric Flair. Stirred up the pot when he finally crossed over from WCW to WWF. Was the main star at the one of the greatest Royal Rumbles. Had a great feud with Savage that led to a good match at Wrestlemania. Was one of the more charismatic and must see guys in the WWF at the time. Dropped the belt to Hart in a good technical wrestling bout.

- Bret Hart. Almost everyone this year sucked ass except for him. Was the only guy who could be taken seriously and the only guy who actually acted like a wrestler and not some comic book freak. His work during the King of the Ring is the most noticeable for he fought Razor Ramon, Curt Henning and Bam Bam all in one night.

- Bret Hart. Won the Royal Rumble and for the first time really felt like the undisputed main guy. Had a fantastic feud with Owen which resulted in two classics at Wrestlemania and Summerslam. Also carried Backlund in their feud. I believe he fought the 1-2-3 Kid this year as well (might have been 93).

- Shawn Michaels. First guy to win the Royal Rumble at #1. Carried Diesel to a good match. Had great intercontinental championship bouts with Jeff Jarret and Razor Ramone. Started coming into himself as a guy who deserved to headline.

- Shawn Michaels. Won the Royal Rumble, headlined against Bret at WM 12. Had a streak of great title defenses against The British Bulldog, Sycho Sid, Vader, Mankind & Diesel.

- Steve Austin. Won the Royal Rumble. Had the greatest feud and best match that year against Bret Hart (and his family). Had a mean demeanor that was highly refreshing. Could brawl and technical wrestle real well. Was involved in the Canadian Stampede, Final 4 match and a good match with HBK.

- Steve Austin. Won the Royal Rumble and beat HBK for the belt. His feud with Vince McMahon helped the WWE win the Monday Nightwars. Had real good feuds with HHH and The Rock.

- The Rock. Most charismatic and best talker. With Austin gone and Foley as his sidekick, the WWE revolved around what The Rock did.

- HHH. Very intense and intimidating heel. Had the best feud that year with Mick Foley, as well as clashes with The Rock.

-Steve Austin. Had the most entertaining gimmick as well as turn. Had great bouts with Angle, The Rock & the three stages of hell with HHH.

- Kurt Angle. Much of the same as the previous year. Helped establish the tag division for Smackdown with his odd-ball couple tag team w/ Benoit. Lead to classic tag matches with him and Chris against Edge and Rey. Angle also had good singles matches with Edge and Rey Mysterio as well as a good match with his own partner (a couple of them actually). Was also involved in a highly regarded triple threat with Undertaker and The Rock.

- Kurt Angle. All around very entertaining worker. Charismatic and he also lead Smackdown as the show that was truly about wrestling. Great feud with Lesnar that sparked 3 classics as well as excellent bouts with Cena and Benoit.

- Chris Benoit. Had a very successful road to wrestlemania storyline. Was the mainstar in one of the best Royal Rumbles and he was in many good matches that involved HBK, HHH, Kane & Randy Orton.

- Shawn Michaels. Everyone else except for Batista had a normal year. HBK delivered a lot of good matches. He fought Edge, Kurt Angle twice, Hulk Hogan & Shelton Benjamin.

- John Cena. Much of the same as 07.

- John Cena. Had a great championship run where he helped solidify a group of heels.

- Chris Jericho. Much of the same as 09, except he had one of the best feuds in recent times with HBK as well as a very believable heel turn.

- Chris Jericho. Brilliant promos, versatile work all across the board, had good matches. Had real good work with Big Show and helped get over a lot of talent.

- John Cena. Passionate work, most relevant plotline, most exciting out of all the main eventers nad had solid in ring work. Good feuds with Wade Barret & Batista.

Batista gets 2005 rather easily. Not even sure how an argument could be made for Shawn. Batista, Cena, HHH, and probably Edge had better years. Hell, you listed his feud with Angle as one of the reasons, a feud that is only memorable because of Angle.
