Candyman was born out of fear due to necessity - Fear is a great motivator once you overcome the fear of being afraid, one can almost feel Invincible because you have conquered that which caused the fear . Freddy is a manifestation of people’s fear - he’s a product of demons and lost souls, demons can be destroyed.
