hope they improved the way it actually feels to play. Didn’t like how ‘floaty’ it all felt before
People already played it and tried it for free, thats my point

It’s a great game but mismanagement from WB screwed up its momentum
Game was selling like gangbusters and even won fighting game of the year but they were severely understaffed to keep up with maintaining servers and adding all the new content. They were at a pace of 1 new character a month with a stage which would’ve been dope if they could’ve sustained it. They were doing AAA numbers and had a huge content roadmap with an indie-sized team
Rebuilding in unreal 5 and all new netcode will be nice tho

I don't know what we talking about.
We complained and complained about developers not supporting the game, not supporting the servers, et al. You could say don't go into a situation half ass, but they do it. Destiny and fortnite carrying a game with a ten year engine. They was running fortnite engine on pentiums. Thos us what developers do In 2024.
At least Wb froze the game, and then came back with more money and support

I tried and failed to get into the 1st iteration. Outside of net code, Smash Ultimate just looked and felt better in every way.
Down to give this version a shot though.
