I don't have much interest in seeing this but does Mufasa come off as bad as the plot synopsis makes it seem?

not at all...if anything, mufasa showed reluctance, restraint and even was propping up Taka to be king/hook up with Sarabi

Nah without spoiling Scar was weak and Mufasa’s inherent leadership qualities and nobility is what got him all the “blessings”.

Only gripe was the “Bye-Bye” song. shyt was trash/cringe.
Also, mini Beyoncé did a great job voice-acting Simba’s daughter.
