whaaat?? wtf does doing something for the rap game mean??

u make rap for the listeners...and WTT produced one of the greatest tours in rap history..have u even read or looked at the event surrounding WTT?

WTT was a huge event dude

Songs from that album are still being played till this day (No church in the Wild, nikkaz in paris, etc.)

Fck are u talm bout

nikkaz in Paris was one of the hugest bangerz of 2011

But WTT wasn't an event

nikka is ur dumass NasLost stan ass even making sense rii now :what:
fukk a tour for fans, WTT and changing the way nobody is flowing.

nikkas ain't stepping up their game for no damn WTT. Jay and Ye sounding washed up for the most part, minus a few song like No Church, New Day, and Murder to Excellence

nikkas in Paris is borderline unlistenable, nobody in the rap community point to Watch the Throne as a landmark album like Graduation, 808's n Heartbreak.

Name something that WTT brought to the table for Hip Hop like The Blueprint, real classics

if that's the case Nas hasn't had a genre defining album since 94 since he aint influence a bunch of mufckaz with his albums and the style he used on em after illmatic :mjpls:

Who decided to make Mt Rushmore about influence when JFK and Reagan aren't on there ?

:dahell:

Can't decide if this is a troll post, but this question is on the right track. Mount Rushmore was established in the 1920's, it's dated and happened to come before some REALLY big events in American history. To roughly equate that with rap's historical perspective.. Jay Z and Nas would both have to be taken off the list to make room for some older artists, ones that influenced Jay and Nas themselves. Names like Kanye and Wayne, while huge in their own respect, have no place on a depiction of rap's founding architects.

More like in 2001 he made a big impact with Stillmatic.

Even after he has earned praise for his newest work, evolving with his music and still staying in the top tier of MCs after 20 some odd years.

Jay's music has fallen off bad in recent years

So if a mt. Rushmore of rap were to be established today Nas and Jay wont be on it? "Founding" architects shouldn't be an indicator to be on it...

If Mt. Rushmore of Rap were to be established today I think Nas and Jay would both be on it, along with Big and Pac. Similarly, if another Presidential Mt. Rushmore was established today, I think Teddy Roosevelt would be taken off in favor of FDR; I'm just trying to relate when Mt. Rushmore came to be in American history compared to rap's history. A lot had happened by the 1920's (think mid 90's rap era), but in just a few decades, it was an entirely different scene (think mid 00's rap era).

Edit: Side note: I think there would be more than just four faces on the new Mt. Rushmores.
