fukk a tour for fans, WTT and changing the way nobody is flowing.whaaat?? wtf does doing something for the rap game mean??
u make rap for the listeners...and WTT produced one of the greatest tours in rap history..have u even read or looked at the event surrounding WTT?
WTT was a huge event dude
Songs from that album are still being played till this day (No church in the Wild, nikkaz in paris, etc.)
Fck are u talm bout
nikkaz in Paris was one of the hugest bangerz of 2011
But WTT wasn't an event
nikka is ur dumass NasLost stan ass even making sense rii now
if that's the case Nas hasn't had a genre defining album since 94 since he aint influence a bunch of mufckaz with his albums and the style he used on em after illmaticfukk a tour for fans, WTT and changing the way nobody is flowing.
nikkas ain't stepping up their game for no damn WTT. Jay and Ye sounding washed up for the most part, minus a few song like No Church, New Day, and Murder to Excellence
nikkas in Paris is borderline unlistenable, nobody in the rap community point to Watch the Throne as a landmark album like Graduation, 808's n Heartbreak.
Name something that WTT brought to the table for Hip Hop like The Blueprint, real classics
Who decided to make Mt Rushmore about influence when JFK and Reagan aren't on there ?
Nas hasn't had a genre defining album
More like in 2001 he made a big impact with Stillmatic.if that's the case Nas hasn't had a genre defining album since 94 since he aint influence a bunch of mufckaz with his albums and the style he used on em after illmatic
So if a mt. Rushmore of rap were to be established today Nas and Jay wont be on it? "Founding" architects shouldn't be an indicator to be on it...Can't decide if this is a troll post, but this question is on the right track. Mount Rushmore was established in the 1920's, it's dated and happened to come before some REALLY big events in American history. To roughly equate that with rap's historical perspective.. Jay Z and Nas would both have to be taken off the list to make room for some older artists, ones that influenced Jay and Nas themselves. Names like Kanye and Wayne, while huge in their own respect, have no place on a depiction of rap's founding architects.

Drake can have his face on Care Bear Mountain
This is the Mt. Rushmore of RAP, not this
New school Mt Rushmore should be made of ice cream for a long list of reasons
