Mt Rushmore For ATL Albums

The most seminal albums in ATL hip hop.

No debate. And to qualify you have to actually BE FROM ATL,GEORGIA. And even without that, there are no other albums important to the ATL scene than these four.

No arguments from me. What are your thoughts on SPCM though? Only reason I'm asking is that SPCM actually put DF on and set it off for ATL on a national scale from a Hip Hop stand point and even musically in general.

Tbh I figured only one album per artist lol but you can argue Outkast got 3 albums for ATL Mt Rushmore (SPCM, ATLiens, and Aquemini) but thats not fair lol.

DS2.. BUT i'm not mad at your list at all. TM 101 was just a force of nature, but this from the perspective of a Cleveland Breh. ds2 wasnt blaring brehs cars like TM101 was.

I honestly think Barter 6 or Pluto make more sense than DS2. My personal list would have The State vs Radric Davis but most didn’t like that album as much as I did and being as though I was in Atlanta every summer around that time. Also Best Thang Smokin would be close for me.
